"Keith?"
"Yeah?"
"Stick to the plan." They commanded.
A small smile spread across his lips, nodding his head in camaraderie.
"Just stay close by, okay?"

When Keith and (Y/N) came back from their little purple-lion-finding-and-almost-dying adventure, the command center of Allura's ship was live with tension.
Everyone was crowded around Allura, seemingly awaiting for (Y/N) and Keith's arrival.
When they walked through the doors, everyone's eyes were quick to jump to the both of them, making their entrance a bit awkward.
"(Y/N), I trust you found your lion?" Allura questioned.
"Yes, Princess." (Y/N) gleamed, pride running through their body.
"Goo-"
"Wait, wait, wait. (Y/N) is a paladin? Since when?" Lance interrupted, confusion smacking him upside the head.
Shiro sighed, giving Allura an apologetic smile. 'Really, Lance?' he thought.
"Lance, that isn't important right now," Allura shut down."Right now, we need to take back the Red Lion."
With a swipe of her somehow manicured hand, a map locating anything and everything in the Solar system unfolded before the group.
No one ever seems to get used to that.
"There's a bit of good news and bad news," an eccentric man popped out from behind Allura, causing (Y/N)'s eyes to knit in confusion. "Good news is the Red Lion is nearby. The bad news is it's aboard that Galra ship now orbiting Arus." He said bleakly.
"Hey Keith?" (Y/N) nudged, mumbling as to not interrupt the strange orange man. "Who is that guy?"
"Him? That's Coran. Allura's bodyguard or something."
"I've never seen anyone like him before." They murmured, making Keith snicker.
"Wait, you mean to tell us that they're here already?" Shiro strained, knocking (Y/N) and Keith back into the reality of war.
As if on cue, someone came through on the screen.
"Princess Allura, this is Commander Sendak of the Galra Empire," The man spoke with haste and intimidation. This alien being was different from what the Earth crew has ever seen in their life, but it took little time to adapt to the differences since they had bigger issues at hand.
They'll just have to worry about the big fluffy purple dude later, where they aren't fighting an intergalactic war.
(Y/N) and Keith shared the same stoic expression when Sendak spoke.
He demanded all the lions, no room for bargaining on Allura's part. If no one was nervous before, they were now.

Your P.O.V
Coran had told us to wait in the command center whilst he brought Allura somewhere to help with her life or death decision.
There was a split between the group, tension so thick you couldn't put a knife through it. Keith and Lance glared at one another in, hopefully, temporary animosity.
Pidge and Hunk, the two who I thought were almost inseparable seemed to despise each other over their little dispute.
Shiro and I weren't quite sure if we should stay or leave. Both seeming to have dire consequences. Leaving would cause the Galra to destroy Arus, then us. However, staying would cost us our lives if we don't fight. Though, how would we fight with only four lions?
