Lance has been avoiding me for a good week now since the little fiasco that occurred.

Whenever I enter a room that he happens to be in, he'll duck his head and exit quietly. Like he just so happens to have something do right when I arrive.

And, of course, it pisses me off to no end.

I mean, it would piss anyone off too. This is a person who I want to spend most of my time with because he makes me a better person, but then he goes and blows me off.

All because I kept my mouth shut.

If I would have said something sooner, he would have known. He would have known that I absolutely adore him.

Ever since he handed me that guitar, I knew that this boy was something... Amazing.

I just wish he and others would see that.

I enter the training room with quiet and hasty steps, hoping I wouldn't startle anyone from their training momentum. I fiddled with my bayard as I scanned the training room.

What should it be today? The killer droid, weights, or a friendly spar?

I took stock of my options presented in front of me. I know that no matter what I pick, I'll be fatigued for the rest of the day. It the matter of which will hurt less.

"Hey! (Y/N)!"

Jumping slightly, I turn my heel to be greeted with Shiro, who seemed to be ready for his daily workout. A dark blue towel was casted over his shoulder and his energy seemed to be booming.

"Uh, hey." I gave him a small wave, unsure as to why he's so...chipper?

"I'm glad I caught you, I've been meaning to talk to you."

Ah, so he shows his true colors. He wasn't being nice, he just wanted something.

As always.

"What's up?"

"I just wanted to apologize for being," He brought his cybernetic hand to the back of his head, which seemed to be already sweating, "Uh, overbearing when we first met."

So that's what he calls it. Overbearing.

"It's alright. I guess I was just pushing your buttons too much." I gave a simple shrug.

In retrospect, I realized I was kind of an asshole to Shiro in the blue lion. I do feel guilty about it now, but the past is in the past.

"No, you just wanted to see Lance succeed."

My eyes widened at the mention of Lance's name. Something tells me Shiro wants to do more than apologize.

"It was his first time riding in the blue lion and you wanted him to take advantage of something almost impossible." He grinned.

"Yeah, but, I could of have had us killed for being reckless." I frowned.

"But are we dead?"

He has a point there.

I nodded, defeated. Shiro does know how to make someone feel slightly better.

Smiling, he placed a hand on my shoulder, "Do you want to train together?"

"Sure. But you're going to completely annihilate me." I chuckled.

"As long as you stay focused, you should be able to take me down." He got in a fighting stance that would surely intimidate the opposing side,"Everyone has a weakness."
