A/N: this is a pretty long first chapter. If you need me to clarify anything, ask away friends!

As a child, I was brought up as a musical prodigy.
My mother forced me to play strings all the way to keys. She dragged my younger sister, Vivian, into it as well. She was always along my side during our practices.
It made the tedious practices amusing.
Whenever someone played the wrong note, we'd both giggle and helped another out.
Though, my mother tried to make both of us think it was a competition between each other.
We never let that happen.
I was better at strings and percussion, while she was the best at keys. The way her fingers danced upon a piano always blew my mind. She'd create a tranquil melody out of thin air.
However, she always admired my talent as well. She told me constantly that I should be in competitions. I assured her that she would be outstanding at any competition, blowing all the contestants out of the water.
We would stay up late, talking about our futures as musicians, until the sun peeked over the horizon.
Though, only one of us will ever see the day of our careers.
When I was 14, Vivian passed away due to a long battle with cancer. She held on for so long, she fought like no other person I knew of. Unfortunately, it was declared on February 23rd, age 12, that she had died.
Of course, I didn't take it well. I screamed, I punched a few walls, I broke a lot of things.
Not a single tear was shed, though. I guess I was more angry than upset.
I blamed everyone for her death. My mother, her friends, hell, even the doctors!
But it was none of their faults. I told myself it was mine.
All the time.
That was 4 years ago, though. I had to get over it. I couldn't let anyone know what I was feeling or thinking.
So that's why I left home. I told my mother that I was planning on going to school, but in reality, my plans were far from that.
I haven't spoken to my mom in 2 years. I don't really know how's she doing or the rest of my family, for that matter. I can only pray she's doing well.
Now, I reside in a little abode in the outskirts of town. No one ever comes here so, I ferment in my own solitude.
I strummed away at my guitar, volume to the max, I didn't care who could hear me.
After rocking out for what seemed like hours, I placed my guitar on it's stand. Gentle as ever.
"You sounded awesome today, Lola." I snickered.
I through finger guns at my guitar and winked.
I didn't name my guitar Lola. My sister called it that so I decided to keep it.
I waltzed into my kitchen, eagerly looking for some kind of sustenance. I ransacked my cupboards and fridge, and to no avail, had no luck finding food. I guess we'll be taking a nap for dinner tonight.
Exasperated, I pushed myself off the floor and shuffled towards my room.
That's when my body stopped moving. My hands began to shake furiously, and along with my body. A buzzing sensation rippled throughout my body. I felt numb until pain just jolted everywhere through me. "Ahgh!" I collapsed to my knees and tried to hold myself up.
It felt like I was being torn into pieces and being put back together. Like my entire being was being rewritten.
I could have sworn blood fell from my nose a couple of times.
Holding myself up became a short lived task as I suddenly fell to the ground.
Eventually, black spots clouded my vision.
When I came to, my body felt tense and tired.
I got up with remaining strength I had left within me and sauntered over to my counter-top clock.
10:00 PM
I must have been out for a few hours, for the clock before I knocked out had read 7:34 .
I debated whether or not I should have gone to the hospital for this was a scary occurrence, but my body had other plans.
I felt a tug on my body, as if something was trying to bring me somewhere.
Naively following this strange tug, I threw on my jacket which was compromised of black leather. It never really kept me warm, but I felt extremely cool wearing it.
The cuffs reached down to my forearms, and the zipper was just around my waist. Underneath, I dawned a slightly tattered white tank and a pair of black pants that hugged my legs but left me room to move around.
I quickly put on a pair of boots, the soles almost worn out.
When I was dressed, I hastily grabbed my keys that belonged to my motorcycle.
I remember seeing pictures of motorcycles having wheels, and yearned for an antique like that since I was young.
Alas, I was left with this pretty boy. He was fast and quick, great for someone like me who loved the rush of turning sharp corners and taking extreme dives. It was always hard for people to tell where I was coming from, making it fun to spook people while they were driving.
I haven't caused any accidents.
Yet.
When I walked out my door, the outside air was crisp and warm. It was an overall tranquil night.
The only thing that filled my ears was the sound of wildlife singing their choruses. It almost brought me back to nostalgic nights with my sister.
I sauntered over to my cycle which hovered above the ground when it was idle.
I reached for my helmet which kept my face hidden from others. In all honesty, I looked pretty intimidating.
I started the ignition, and the pull had come back with full force.
Following my instincts, I drove for a good 45 minutes until I skid to a harsh stop when I saw something coming in hot from the atmosphere.
My eyes widened when my spirit of inquiry had decided to make itself known.
The tug was more aggressive than ever before.
I drove to where the tug was pushing me and had eventually ended in a Canyon of some sort. I looked around for any source of life when I saw light illuminate from behind a mountain.
When I finally got a good look, I saw some kind of camp set up in the crevices of the canyon.
This must have been the Galaxy Garrison.
It was a well renowned school for those who wanted to become a pilot. My sister was offered a scholarship when she was younger, but declined for she wanted to go to the same school I did.
A loud crash obstructed my thoughts when I saw the thing that was crashing into our atmosphere finally land smack into the ground.
Sirens blaringly sounded, making my ear drums ring from time to time.
This couldn't be from our planet, and I sure hoped it wasn't.
