Here I sit, over due with a stupid angel's baby. I know. It sounds stupid. But hear me out. I do love the angel. Even though he's the reason I'm going through hell. Again.
"Dean, What's Wrong?" I looked over at Cas. He was sitting in a chair looking at me. I frowned and put a hand on my stomach.
"Hmm. Let's see. I'm overdue by five days, the kid is killing my back, oh and I can't drive the impala," I pouted as I felt kicks under my skin. Cas just got up and walked over to me. He kissed my forehead and walked into the nursery. I rubbed my stomach as I felt a pain go from my lower back though my body. I groans and sat back in my chair. I pushed it off for a few hours finding little things to do without having to get up and move, but the pains kept coming back and getting worse. I groaned as the worst pain I'd ever felt shot through my body.
"C-Cas! S-Sam! S-Somebody!" I yelled from my spot on the couch as I felt a gush of warm fluid between my legs. No one came running.
"C-Cas!" I yelled at the top of my lungs as the flap of wings were heard. I felt his hand on my shoulder as he knelt beside me.
"Dean, Take it easy, it's ok," I groaned and sat up weakly.
"W-Where's S-Sam?" I panted as I heard footsteps running down the stairs and towards me.
"Dean?" I groaned and nodded. I gripped the bottom of my stomach as another pain started.
"H-H-Hospital! Now!" Sam nodded and helped me stand up. Both Cas and Sam helped me to the back of the car where Cas sat with me and rubbed my back. I panted and cussed every time sam would turn the car or stop or drive over a bump. It was a long drive to the hospital. It felt like even longer with the pain I was in.
"C-Cas, I-I-It hurts," I wined as Cas continued to rub my back. He shushed me and kissed my sweaty forehead. Once Sam pulled into the hospital parking lot he jumped out and helped me out. Him and cas helped me to the entrance. We were lead to a room where I was laid on a bed and taken to a different room. A nurse helped get me out of my sweatpants and shirt and into a gown. Once back in bed Cas came in and stood beside the bed. I panted and gripped his hand. He ran his thumb over my knuckles as a contraction came and went.
"Ok Mr. Winchester, Push in the next contraction," I panted and nodded. I bore down and started to push. I gripped Cas's hand as hard as I could and cussed once that round was done. It took about an hour to get the baby out and into the world. It scared the shit out of me when I didn't hear them cry. I panted and looked around at where the nurses had taken the baby. The doctor got me cleaned up.
"Cas, What's happening?" I looked up at him. He had a look of slight fear.
"They're clearing his lungs throat," as soon as he finished saying that a ear piercing scream rang out. I smiled weakly as I watched a nurse bring the baby to me and put them on my chest.
"Congratulations, it's a boy," I smiled softly at the wailing baby in my chest. Cas kisses my forehead and then the baby's head.
"Hey buddy," I smiled softly at the baby as he calmed down. He slowly opened his big blue eyes and looked at me.
"Hey Kaden John," I smiled as he made a noise. Cas just grinned and looked at Kaden. He was perfect in every way.
