Ayyyy! ANOTHER Request!
It was early morning, only about 5:45. Niles was still in the bed. There wasn't any noise until the tiny footsteps on our hardwood floor started to get closer. I smiled as I felt my daughter jump into the bed next to me.
"Mama wake up. Daddy wake up!" She smiled and crawled in between me and Niles. I laughed softly at the Now four year old. She hugged my very pregnant stomach and giggled.
"Wake up bubba!" She smiled and wiggled as she turned and jumped on Niles. Niles wrapped his arms around her and pulled her down to the bed in a swift motion. Both of them laughed and hugged each other. I smiled as I felt the baby shift.
"Niles your son is awake too" I looked down at my stomach and smiled. It shifted and moved causing me to smiled wider. Niles smiled and looked over at me. He set his hand on my stomach and smiled.
"He's so active" he yawned and smiled. I nodded and yawned. Niles moves our daughter in between us. He kissed her forehead then got up.
"Daddy, don't go" out daughter wined as Niles got his clothes to shower.
"I have to. Paige, Remember you have to watch papa today and make sure your brother is nice. Ok?" He asked and looked at her. Paige smiled and nodded. She turned and hugged me. Niles came and kissed me. I smiled as he left the room. I yawned and fell asleep holding Paige. Paige and I slept until about 10:30. When I woke up I smiled softly feeling my daughter shift in my arms. Paige was asleep still hugging my hand. I felt bad for her. She was the only girl in the house and was going to stay the only girl for a while. When she woke up she looked at me and frowned. She tilted her head and looked at me. I felt my stomach tighten up as a pain shoot up from my lower back. I frowned and put my hand over my stomach. I knew what that was it was a contraction. I wasn't worried because when I had Paige the contractions took hours to go anywhere.
"Mama are you ok?" Paige asked and looked at me. I smiled softly and kissed her forehead. I slowly sat up and got out of bed.
"I'm ok, bubba is just being a pain in the butt," Paige frowned when I said that. She went over to my stomach and hugged it.
"Bubba be nice to mama" she kissed it before rubbing off to get dressed. I laughed softly and got dressed myself. I had to pause due to a contraction. It was worrisome how close they were together already.
"Mama can we play?" Paige said as I finished pulling my shirt over my stomach. I smiled and nodded. We went downstairs and went downstairs. We went to Paige's play room and sat down. I smiled and watched as she ran around. I felt about two contractions while we stayed down there. We were only in there for about twenty minutes. So the fact that the contractions were that close, about ten minutes apart, it had me worried. Throughout the day they got closer until I had to call Niles's brother to get Paige. Niles wasn't answering his phone so I had settled on Niles brother Connor. He took Paige and me to the hospital. He took Paige to the park while I was getting my medical attention. One of the nurses called Niles and talked to him. I delivered the baby in the time it took for Niles to get there. When Niles finally ran into the room our son wouldn't stop crying.
"Gavin!" He looked at me setting his bag in the chair and coming over to me. He looked at our son.
"I'm so sorry Gavin" I smiled weakly and leaned against him. I looked down at our son as he slowly calmed down. He gripped my shirt and made noises.
"It's alright Niles.... just look at him... look at our James" I smiled and yawned. Niles nodded as the door opened. Paige came in and ran to the bed. She looked at her brother and smiled.
"Bubba!" She sat in Niles lap and smiled.
"Yeah. He's here baby...." I smiled at my daughter. She smiled and watched her brother.
