I rolled my eyes and put my phone on my doc. I blasted music and walked by the kitchen. I hopped in the shower and listened to my music. I wrapped a towel around my body and my hair. I went to my room and picked out a pair of high wasted shorts and a halter top. I put my underwear and bra on. I put on my high wasted shorts. I danced into the kitchen and danced. I was letting my hair dry naturally. it was curly and I liked it like that. I grabbed a frying pan and turned the stove on and put butter in it. I made scrambled eggs and toast. there was pounding on my door. "Annabella open the god damn do- thank you" blaire said coming in. "Where's my food" blaire said putting her bag down. I grabbed two plates and blaire said at my counter top. "Here you go princess" I said giving her some eggs, toast with Nutella, and some fresh fruit. "Thanks dear" she said. We ate together. "Why don't your parents let you move in? I have a place, you can pay half the rent. we can carpool" I said. "I'm there 'little girl' and they don't want me to spread my wings" blaire said. I rolled my eyes laughing as I put my plate in the sink. "Put some clothes on" blaire yelled. I rolled my eyes and sat at my vanity. I did my makeup and then put my halter top on as blaire tied it around my neck. "What shoes" I asked. "Converse, we'll be training the newbies" she said. I grabbed my black converse and put them on. I grabbed to coffee cups and poured them. I did exactly what blaire liked. we got in the car and I drove us to work. "I hope there cute" blaire said. "Knowing our luck they'll be 40 and pervs" I said laughing. we drove for 20 minutes. I pulled in and we saw Kelly, our boss, talking to 4 guys. "Damn it, there hot" blaire said. "And she's pissed because were late" I said. "Got the extra cup" she asked. "Back" I said. she got her cup of coffee and we stepped out of the car. My hair blew in the wind and Kelly looked pissed. "You girls are late and we g-" "Kelly, we are late because we got you a coffee" I said. blaire handed it to Kelly. "Extra sugar" asked kelly. "Yes" blaire said. "3 shots of expresso" asked Kelly. "Yes" blaire said. "Decaf?" "Yes." "Whip cream blended in?" "Yea." "Good job, your both excused. "Alright. long story short" Kelly said sipping her coffee. "You each are going to take 2 of them. we've did it based on interests. Anna you have Ashton and Michael. Blaire you have Lucas and Calum" Kelly said. "It's actually Luke" Luke said to Kelly. I shook my head no as he said that. "I'll call you whatever the hell I want" Kelly said. "Don't get on my bad side Lucas, you can ask about what happened to Jeannie" Kelly said walking off. "I'm sorry about here. she's a little on edge lately, we all are. we got a huge shipment order and it's due in 3 days. not the best time for newbies to come in" I said. "Play nice Annabella, see ya for lunch" blaire said taking Calum and Luke the opposite direction of where I work. "Alright, follow me this way" I said as the followed me into the building. "Your offices will be on the 48th floor, great view of skyline" I said walking towards the elevator. I opened the door and Ashton and Michael walked in. I clicked the 48th floor and the pounded on the close door. "You okay there" ashton asked. "Yea there is this creepy guy that has been stalking me for the longest time ever since i started working here. Last thing i need is him stuck in an elevator with me" i replied. we road for a while and then the elevator stopped. "Your shitting me" i said as the lights went out. this was the closet all over again. I tried to spark the elevator but it wouldn't budge. "Shit" i said sliding down agaisnt the wall as i hit the floor. "Are you ok" Michael asked. "Claustrophobic extremly" i said. Ashton came closer to me. "mate she is claustrophobic and the last thing she wants is someone near her. back off" Michael said. I sighed and my phone rang. It was Blaire. "Blaire!" i exclaimed. "Oh my god are you ok? we're all in a lock down becuase an elevator stopped. was that yours" Blaire asked. "To my luck it was ours" i said. "Hey, your going to be ok. Just keep space and talk with them" Blaire said. "Your on speaker" i said. "Hi" Michael and Ashton both said. "Just keep her busy well they do there best, I have to go. Kelly is coming. You'll be ok babe, Love ya" Blaire said giving me a over dramatized kiss. "Bye" i said hanging up. "You are les?" ashton asked. "No you idiot! Blaire is the closet thing i have to family" I said sharply. "Well, we're going to be working together so we might as well get to know each other now" Michael said. "You already started by telling us about Blaire being the closet thing to your family. So your first Annabella" Ashton said. "It's anna" i said. he nodded. "Well lets see. I had a normal life until i was 10. I lost my mom and the cops never figured out why. They never found her body and decided that it was just another unsolved case. My dad was a drug dealer and he constantly had girls over. When i was 14 he use to lock me for hours or even days in a closet that was very tiny, hence why i hate tiny spaces. He would lock me in there and starve me until i learned my lesson. He use to make me take drugs and i became addicted around 16. I met Blaire and her parents took me to the hospital and I got cleaned. Her parents helped me with my addiction and they called the cops on my dad. The cops searched the house and the found my mothers body. It turned out that my dad was a killer. He use to have a girl over every night and he would kill them. Blaires parents took me in until i was 18 when i finished school and got a job. I bought a kick ass apartment for a nice coast. I moved out and now Blaire and I are closer then we've ever been. People were awful at my school. A ton of the drug addicts use to bully me until i would bring them stuff, which i never did. My dad was sentenced to his death and my mom had a proper funeral. I use to get bullied a lot and i would always stay after for some reason because i didn't want to see my father. I was always at Blaires house and her parents were ok with that. I went into a sad period of my life and did tons of bad stuff. I got in trouble with the cops and they let me go. I turned my life around at 16 and now i have the job of my dreams and the closet thing to family that i can have. So that's it" I said standing up. I turned around and faced a wall. I wiped a tear out of my eye and turned around. Ashton hugged me and we stood there for a while. "Ok lovers' Michael said. I rolled my eyes and Ashton sighed. "Mikey your turn" He said. Well i feel shitty because i had a pretty good childhood. Two parents who loved me and i got good grades. I was a rebel, the normal" Michael said. "Ashton?" I asked. "Well, i had a pretty good life... There was one time when i started to get picked on a lot and i was in my darkest hour. i tried to kill myself but michael got to me before i did it. Thats why I tend to wear a lot of string braclets. I was really upset but i found my way out" Ashton said. I walked over and hugged him. The elevator started back up and we walked out. "Your not alone" i whispered as we got off.
