Chapter 10

Soon I fall back into my sleep but without a single nightmare.

“AWWWWWWEEEEEEE I KNEW IT!!!!” I hear a voice say.

Then I hear a smack.

“OWWWWWW” The same voice said.

“Shut up Uriah” Another voice, says “Leave them to sleep.”

“Oh c'mon ZZEEEEEKKKEEYYYYY! It's my turn to wake him up!” Uriah says in a loud hushed voice.“I even brought the bucket of ice water!” He continues.

I hear another smack.

“You're gonna get Tris soaked! And freezing! Then Four will REALLY kill you. Don’t you remember last time you woke up Four! He pounded you to a pulp.” Zeke says and laughs a bit at the end.

“Did not!” Uriah retorts.

“Did too!” Zeke says while laughing in what he thinks is a hushed tone.

It really isn’t…

I hear a groan beside me. It's Four. Wait how did I know it was him? I haven’t heard him groan. Have I? I push the thought away.

“Zeke. Uriah. I heard the words. ‘wake up’, ‘ice water’, ‘Tris soaked’, ‘Four’ and ‘kill you’….. Care to explain?” Four asks in a sarcastic voice and I can hear him stretch and groan a little.

“Uh…..” I hear Zeke stutter.

Then I feel someone's fingers comb over my hair and push away a few stray hairs.

I think its Four. Well at least I hope its Four. It would be awkward if it was Zeke or Uriah.

I cant help but crack a smile and I quickly try to hide it while pretending to move in my ‘sleep’. And of course my body ‘knowing’ Four so well snuggles up to him.

What the hell is going on? Do I even have control over my own body anymore.

I- or should I say my body- snuggle up to him in response to myself.

I scoff in my mind. Wow…

“AWWWWWWWW” I hear Uriah exaggerate the word.

Then I hear kissy noises from 2 people.

Of course. You snuggle up to one guy in your sleep and people start making kissy noises. Typical.
