A/N: Okay, first I want to apologise for the massive wait! Sosososososo sorry! I have no excuse for delaying writing the chapter. I've just been really lazy :/ I know what it feels like to be waiting for the next chapter on a story I'm reading....crap. I don't know what else to say. Hopefully my next chapter won't be as delayed. But one thing I have to make clear is that I WILL complete the story. It may take me a while, but I'll get there in the end! (:

Chapter 20
(Third Person POV)
Jayden paced around Alex and Rose's large living room; maneuvering himself around chairs and tables every so often. Rose slouched on a recliner, with her arms crossed as she gazed curiously at Jayden's movements.
"You-You don't even know what I would do to see her and see if she was okay." Jayden said finally, turning to look at Alex. "She was right there in front of you! She was right there and you didn't ask her anything. You didn't find out anything." He sighed in frustration and ran a hand through his overly shaggy hair. He hadn't slept since Violet disappeared. He'd been thinking of ways to get her back; all of which were near impossible to do without getting killed in the process. "You talked to her in that...dream," he said. "What did the two of you even talk about?"
"None of your damn business," Alex said curtly. He lounged sideways on a three-seater, with his legs lazily propped up on the remaining seats.
Jayden gaped at the comment. In three long strides, he neared Alex until they were only several inches apart. "She's my girlfriend." He glared
"I suggest you get out of my face." Alex said, staying seated and glaring back.
"Why?" Jayden challenged. "What are you going to do about it?"
Alex stood up and smirked. "Wouldn't you like to know..." He hands fisted themselves on the sides of his body.
"Whoa!" Rose stood up quickly and jogged next to both of them; laying a hand on each of their shoulders. "Why don't both of you take a breather. This isn't anything you guys should get worked up on."
Alex ripped his arm out of Rose's grip and made his way out of the room. Rose and Jayden stood quiet until they heard the front door slam shut.
"I'm sorry Rosie. I didn't mean to put you in an awkward position," Jayden said leaning towards her slightly.
She dropped her hand from his arm and laughed. "Rosie? Wow, you haven't said that in a while."
"Yeah..."
"Not since the three of us were friends..." Rose added, trying to get Jayden to comment further.
He didn't say anything.
"I miss that," she said folding her arms. "I miss hanging out with you."
She slowly placed her hand in his and entwined them together; swinging them back and forth slightly. "I miss you," she said, leaning towards him.
Jayden quickly took his hand out of his and took a step back. "I love her Rose-Anne..."
Her eyes watered slightly at the sound of her full name. It made it feel like she was being addressed by a stranger. Not like the boy she had grown up with.
She cleared her throat. "There's something between us. I know you can feel it....You don't love her. You can't. She's meant to be with Alex."
