I pulled my new Corvette into the garage as Wendy pulled up behind me in my 'Cuda. A wide smile spread across my lips at the realization of what I owned.

I walked out towards my old car as Wendy got out.

"I still can't thank you enough." I said.

"You really don't have to, consider it a gift for being an awesome person." She replied.

"No, seriously, I will find a way to pay you back."

"You're so stubborn." She said with a smile.

   "You got that right."

She shook her head and chuckled. "I'll tell you what, how about you help me throw the best housewarming party ever, and I'll consider us even."

   I smiled." You're on."

We hopped in my 'Cuda and headed back towards Twist...

"Back so soon?" Blake asked as we walked through the doors.

"Yeah, I agreed to throw Wendy a house warming party, you in?"

She nodded. "Sounds like a good time, count me in."

Wendy smiled before responding, "You think you could pass the word around?"

   "Sure thing, what time?"

   "Seven, tonight."

Blake nodded and we waved her off as we headed out to make a few more stops...

"Why are we going to the diner..? Wait, you're not thinking of inviting Rebecca are you?" Wendy asked.

"It wouldn't hurt to ask." I replied as I stepped out of the car.

I looked back and saw a disappointed look on her face, but shrugged it off and made my way into the diner.

   "Hey, Rebecca." I greeted.

"Oh, hey Skylar, what's up?" She replied.

"I'm throwing a house warming party for Wendy tonight at seven, you in?"

"Uh, yeah, sure, why not? What's the address?"

"Oh, don't worry about it, I'll be back to pick you up when your shift ends."

She smiled. "I'll see you at five then."

I returned it. "Great, you can help us set up."

She nodded and we said our goodbyes as I made my way back to my car, passing that same familiar redhead on the way out.

"Hey again, you going to Wendy's party?" She asked.

"Uh..." Was all I could say.

"I invited her, hope you don't mind." Came Wendy's response from the passenger seat.

"Oh, yeah, that's cool... um... see you there."

She waved goodbye as she made her way into the diner. I pulled my cigarettes from my leather jacket and lit one, getting into the car.

I stared out the windshield, my mind racing.

"Ok, I know that look, what's the problem?"

"Rebecca and Jen are gonna be there."

   "And?"

"And, I'm trying to get with Rebecca and after the flirting I did with Jen, I cant tell if she's still interested."
