I met Wendy at Twist the next day to devise a plan to get Rebecca back.

We walked through the doors and Blake greeted us with a smile. "Long time no see, kiddos."

"Well, we had a falling out, but sisters don't stay mad at each other for long." Wendy said, giving me a quick smile.

I returned it. "Two Coronas."

We sat at the bar and caught Blake up on the whole story.

"Damn, that's rough." Blake replied.

"Tell me about it." I said

"So, you want her back because you didn't nail her yet?" Blake asked with a raised eyebrow.

I rolled my eyes. "No, I want her back because... never mind."

"Wait, did the Skylar 'take on all comers' Valentine develop feelings for someone other than herself?" Blake asked with a chuckle.

"Stop, this is serious."

"So you did?" Wendy chimed in.

I sighed. "I don't know, ok? I just know I feel differently about her. She's not just a one night stand."

They shared a look before Blake spoke.

"Damn, this is serious. Alright ladies, let's come up with a plan." She said.

So, we spent all day trying to come up with a plan, until it hit me.

   "Wait, guys, I got it."

"What's the plan?" Wendy asked.

I shrugged. "Nothing much, I'm just gonna go talk to her."

They both dropped their heads in disappointment.

"But, you already tried that." Wendy said.

"Yeah, it sounds to me like she doesn't wanna talk." Blake added.

"Well, this time's different. I'm just gonna talk to her one on one."

Blake gave a low whistle. "Good luck with that."

"Thank you." I replied with a nod.

"It wasn't meant as a comp-"

"To late, she's leaving." I heard Wendy say from behind me...

I pulled up in front of Rebecca's house and built up my nerves before walking up to her door.

I knocked three times and waited. She finally answered the door, giving me an icy glare before turning to leave.

I grabbed her arm lightly before she could make it back inside.

"Let go of me." She ordered.

I took a step back. "Just let me talk to you for a minute, it's important."

She folded her arms over her chest. "You had your chance for talking and instead you decided to stick your tongue down that girls throat."

I lowered my head. "It's not like that, ok? She kissed me..."

She scoffed "As if."

I met her gaze again. "I swear, I didn't even know the chick."

"I saw you talking to her at the diner before the party. what do you take me for?"

I groaned. "Ok, fine, I met her at Twist before I met you, but she doesn't mean anything to me."

"Oh, so just another one night stand, huh? I've had enough of this." She said, turning back around.
