I couldn't wait to see Skylar today, it was our one year anniversary and she had a huge surprise planned for today.

Of course she wouldn't tell me, no matter how much I begged.

I walked in front of my mirror and inspected the fourth dress I've tried on, sadly none of my dresses seemed to have that perfect look for today. I took it off and searched the closet in my underwear.

"Is that a tattoo!?" My mom yelled, making me jump.

Shit... "Yes, mom." I answered nervously.

She folded her arms over her chest. "When?"

I lowered my head. "During summer vacation..."

"Did that skank talk you into it?"

I felt my blood start to boil. Who was she to talk about Skylar like that? She didn't even know her.

"No, mom." I said through my teeth.

   "Then who?"

"Me, I wanted a tattoo and I got one."

She shook her head. "If I find out she's corrupting you in some way, I'll put an end to your little friendship."

Even though it's been a year, my mom still thought we were just friends. If only she knew.

"Ok, mom... can you leave now?"

She gave me a disappointed look before walking out and closing my door. I rolled my eyes and continued my search for the perfect dress...

I walked towards the front door, hearing Skylar honk from outside.

Before I could open the door though, my mom pulled me to the side.

"What's the occasion?" She asked suspiciously.

"Uh... fancy dinner... with, uh... friends." I replied, swallowing a nervous lump in my throat.

She looked me up and down before taking a step back and crossing her arms.

"Don't be gone all day." She said.

"I won't. Bye, mom, love you." I said before hurriedly walking out the door.

I watched Skylar from the car lower her sunglasses and look me up and down. Which probably had something to do with the low cut, pink dress I was wearing.

I smirked at her before getting into her car.

'Damn, I loved her car. And she looked sexy as hell driving it.' I thought

"You look great." She managed, still checking me out.

   I smiled. "You to, babe."

She returned it before taking off down the street.

I looked over at her from the passenger seat. She was wearing a tight black dress that hugged her curves perfectly and showed off her toned legs.

"Hey, my eyes are up here." She said with a snap of her fingers, pulling me from my daydreams of her.

"Oh, right... sorry." I said, my face turning red.

She chuckled. "No harm, no foul. Besides, this dress is pretty hot."

I shook my head and laughed. "It has more to do with the girl wearing it. But, sure."

She giggled, flashing me a quick smile.
