Sorry for this also short chapter. Don't worry, they do get longer.
I feel bad for Chris, Kyle always has something to say about how they did and how they weren't good enough. Violet’s attempts to calm him weren't doing anything and Alexandra spent more and more time in the girl's restroom, coming out with a crying Violet. I think she was crying because her boyfriend always so angry. Even though the anger was never directed towards Violet, I think she felt bad he was angry. Nathan wasn't having a great time with relationships either. Brittany had dumped him yesterday, and he seemed so depressed. Alexandra also noticed this. She was either next to Violet, trying to help her out, or beside Nathan. But Alexandra said nothing to Nathan, she just hugged him and he cried into her shoulder. I was always next to Nathan too, saying that he was too good for Brittany, trying to say words of encouragement. But I was never a person of words, usually only of actions, for I was too afraid to use words. I also noticed that Alexandra was starting to become more and more stressed. In the mornings, when she came super early to school she sat down in the hall and listened to music by herself. She looked so absorbed in her own thoughts, I didn't want to bring her down with my problems. During history she looked strained. Like every smile was forced. In science she sat down did work and pulled on her hair. At lunch she wasn't loud. During engineering we didn't talk as much, she kept telling me to help Violet on our catapult. But in PE she turned into an entirely different person. It's like all the feelings she bottled up during the day she finally let out. I could tell with every kick she put quite a bit of force. It worried me.
