Argh. Did it again. Sorry, another short filler chapter.
The soccer unit ended, but Carnes asked us to be the team for the upcoming soccer season. I asked the team about it, and they immediately said yes. But Alexandra didn't say anything, she just nodded tiredly. I didn't blame her. The dark circles under her eyes became darker, and more noticeable. They used to be just little rings of slightly darker skin. Schoolwork became harder to keep up with, and I can only imagine what her Trigonometry teacher assigned her. Violet and Kyle seemed now to be fighting, not even behind closed doors. Kyle yelled at her, Violet cried. Nowadays I seemed to always comforting Violet while Alexandra tries to make the old Nathan come out. I could now hear her whisper, “Shh. Nat, it's okay. Everything is gonna be okay.” I yelled at Kyle sometimes for shouting at Violet. I don't believe that a guy should ever holler at his girl. It was just plain out rude. I was waiting for everyone to be happy again.
