Chapter Fifteen

"Lauren. I-I can't talk about this," Alex looked around anxiously.

"Why? You hurt me!" I snapped back. "I need to know why you did it."

"It's really hard to explain. You just have to believe that I can't talk about it," Alex stuttered.

"That's the thing, I don't believe you. I mean do you really expect me too?" I whimpered.

"I know you have no reason to believe me but please just try!"

"You're acting a lot like Serena right now!" I was losing patience.

"Stop Laur, I can't do this now," Alex emphasized.

"You don't get to call me nicknames, I thought you would be able to tell me why you said the things you said but obviously you're not mature enough for that," My eyes were beginning to water.

"You've turned the whole house against me, Roi doesn't even want to talk to me. My own brother is too ashamed to look at me." He whispered.

"Well I mean can you blame them? What you did is unforgivable," I started to walk away when I felt a tug on my arm.

"I'm sorry," he said.

I pulled my arm away and walked off. I realized Alex had to come home too, I took off running in my sneakers. When I hit the house I slowly opened the door and walked inside carefully.

"Where were you?" Someone turned on the light behind me. I jumped back in fear.

"Mia! You scared me!" I yelled.

She raised an eyebrow, signaling for me to tell her where I was.

"I went to go meet up with Alex," her expression softened.

"Oh, and how was it?" She asked.

"Terrible. I don't want to talk about it." I said truthfully.

"Have you guys made up yet?" She squealed.

I gave her a deathly look, "stop."

"Fine," She gave up. "I was just asking because I saw Alex and Daniella fighting earlier."

Then it hit me, they were probably fighting because Alex told her what he did with me. Daniella probably didn't like it so she told him to come back and be honest with me. So he came back and told me he didn't love me, now I know. Well at least he was able to love somebody-Daniella.

"I'm going to go get some rest," I made my way to the stairs and the door slammed open.

"Alex! People are sleeping!" I whispered loud enough for him to hear.

"I can't stand it anymore!" He yelled.

"You're so dramatic. Get to bed." I demanded.

"No! Lauren! Don't tell me what to do." He was angry.

"Excuse me, Alex, I think you have no reason to be angry right now!" I took a step forward and pointed my finger at him.

"Lauren, there are just some things you don't understand and aren't able to understand!" His voice getting louder by the instant. "I LOVE YOU! And I wasn't able to tell you that! You kicked me out of your life, I was your everything but you left me! What else am I supposed to do! I don't even know how to react myself!" Water filled his blood shot eyes.

"Why didn't you just tell me this, I wouldn't of kicked you out of the house!" I was moving closer.

"Because I'm not allowed to love you! You could get seriously hurt, we both could," he quivered.
