Jude and Jay headed back to Music Divinity because their break was over. In there Jude saw a girl with glasses. It was the same one that ran into Lexi. For some reason, Jude couldn't stop looking at her.
"Listen guys, before we close off for the day, I have something to say." The boss said. It was starting to get late though so it was a good choice to close up. Besides, the store is still new.
"You'll all be working with someone new. Guys meet Jackie Xavier." The girl with glasses stepped forward. "Sup, I'm Jackie, but you can all call me Jax." Jax introduced herself.
"Jax will be working with us starting tomorrow so I expect you all to go easy here. We treat employees equally. If one person is treated like crap, everyone gets treated like crap." The boss said.
Everyone dispersed and Jude couldn't stop looking at Jax. She was eye-catching. No doubts about that. He gulped before walking up to Jax.
"Hi Jax, I'm Jude. I'm looking forward to working with you here." What the hell Jude, why don't you just stab her with a knife while you're at it? Jude thought after his poor introduction.
"Listen, I'm not the best guy for this but Imma just say it as it is. I like you and if you wouldn't mind, can I have your number?" Jude said.
"Wow, straight off the bat. I like that. You don't seem bad, so yeah. Sure. Message me tonight. Okay?" She said before giving him her number and him doing the same.
"Hathaway, we're gonna be late. Hurry up and get your ass in gear." Jay called out interrupting Jude and Jax.
"We'll talk tonight. Until then, I have to bid thee a fine farewell." He said in a British accent making her laugh. Jude followed Jay who was busy walking to the mall exit.
They got onto Jay's bike and he drove them both back to school.
The others also went back to school, but it was sooner than Jude and Jay's departure time.
During their rides, some of them couldn't believe that Jude was hanging out with Jay. The ones wondering this were Jace, Vanessa, Johnny, Danielle and Rae. The latter was obviously Abby, Amanda, Lexi, Malcom, Tori and Lars.
Only reason for Lars on his account was that he was still ignorant and naïve of the situation that involves Jay Sullivan.
"How in the hell is Jude all buddy buddy with Jay?" Jace thought out loud. "Yeah, as if asking us will give you an answer." Abby said with much snark. "Lemme ask you something Jace, do I look psychic to you?"
"And shit is about to get real." Amanda said before Lexi sighed. She honestly wanted to say something.
"They, can't be dating, can they?" Jace thought out loud once more.
"So what if they are? Or did you forget that I'm dating your sister?" Abby snapped. Jace kept his mouth shut about the situation for the whole car ride.
Honestly, Amanda was a bit pissed with the fact that Abby beat her to scolding her younger brother for his thoughts and opinions.
When everyone got back, they headed straight for their dorm rooms. Jude and Jay arrived five minutes later than the rest. They got off of the bike and Jay looked at Jude.
"So, we up for lunch tomorrow?" Jay asked. "Depends, but I'll definitely be there. See you in class Jay." Jude said before heading off to the dorms.
He made it back to his dorm room only to find David. "So how was the mall?" Jude asked.
"What mall?" David was confused. "You know, the trip to the mall organised by Abby."
"I wasn't invited." David said before Jude sighed. " Oh well, it shouldn't matter to me anyway. It's not like anybody likes me anyway."
Jude got up to the top bunk and sighed once more. "Give it some time. I'm sure people will start to like you. You're still new."
"So is Lars and it's very clear that they all like him."
"Stop moping. It's annoying." Jude said. "Besides, there's a lot more people around anyways. Just wait and you'll find your crowd."
"Is that what you did?"
"Fuck no!! I'm an outcast, I got no place in society, or anywhere."
"Okay, thanks for the talk man."
"You welcome fuck face."
Jude then took his phone out and so began a chat between him and Jax.
Hey Jax.
Wow, someone still knows how to work a phone.
Wow, are you always this snarky?
Not this much. I'm worse around guys who piss the living hell out of me.
So am I on that list?
Potentially.
Wow, you're weird... I like that.
I don't see it as weird, I see it as misunderstood.
Finally, someone who gets me. Where have you been all of my life?
Wondering what the guy in my dreams would be like.
You're cool. Hey, you wanna hang out during our lunch break tomorrow?
Sounds interesting. I'll take you on the offer you freak.
Awesome.
Hey Jude, are you gay?
Not entirely no. Why you ask?
It's just that you and Jay seem really close.
Nope, we're friends. Nothing more.
You said not entirely. That implies that your bi.
So what if I'm bi? Is that a crime?
Nope. It's who who are. I don't judge.
Sweet. Thanks for that Jax, really appreciate it.
Any time loser.
Hey, I gotta get to sleep now. Got a long ass day of school tomorrow.
Okay then, get your ass to sleep.
Good night Jax.
Good night dummy.
After reading the last message, Jude went to sleep. One thing on our minds right now. Where the hell is Malcom?!!
