It's been four days since Lexi became the new lead singer for Hellfire Weasle and the band has been operating like a well oiled machine. They practiced non-stop after class everytime since Battle of the Bands was in less than a week.
Thing is, ever since Lexi joined the band, news spread quickly among the students. Jace was obviously happy for his girlfriend, but he still felt uneasy since she was in the same band as Jay.
It's was also easy since Lexi was the friend of most of the band members before she started hanging out with Jace and company.
Jude knew about his replacement and felt a bit hurt. He didn't know why... maybe because they were able to replace him quickly and easily. In all honest truth, it just gave him more reasons to stay away from them. If they could replace him quickly then they really didn't care about him.
He was done giving Paige that tour and he chose to stay alone. He went to the music class to sit and sulk. Things were going bad for him and just laid down on the floor before looking at the roof.
Jude
It starts with one thing
I don't know why
It doesn't even matter how hard you try
Keep that in mind
I designed this rhyme
To explain in due time
All I know
Time is a valuable thing
Watch it fly by as the pendulum swings
Watch it count down to the end of the day
The clock ticks life awayIt's so unreal
Didn't look out below
Watch the time go right out the window
Trying to hold on, but you didn't even know
Wasted it all just to watch you go
I kept everything inside
And even though I tried, it all fell apart
What it meant to me
Will eventually be a memory of a time whenI tried so hard
And got so far
But in the end
It doesn't even matter
I had to fall
To lose it all
But in the end
It doesn't even matterOne thing, I don't know why
It doesn't even matter how hard you try
Keep that in mind
I designed this rhyme
To remind myself of a time when
I tried so hard
In spite of the way you were mocking me
Acting like I was part of your property
Remembering all the times you fought with me
I'm surprised it got so
Things aren't the way they were before
You wouldn't even recognize me anymore
Not that you knew me back then
But it all comes back to me in the end
You kept everything inside
And even though I tried, it all fell apart
What it meant to me will eventually be a memory of a time whenI tried so hard
And got so far
But in the end
It doesn't even matter
I had to fall
To lose it all
But in the end
It doesn't even matterI've put my trust in you
Pushed as far as I can go
For all this
There's only one thing you should know
I've put my trust in you
Pushed as far as I can go
For all this
There's only one thing you should knowI tried so hard
And got so far
But in the end
It doesn't even matter
I had to fall
To lose it all
But in the end
It doesn't even matter"That was amazing Jude." He looked up to at the roof. "You could go far with that voice of yours."
"Thanks for the compliment there Blake but I think I should just stay in the dark. It's all I know." Jude said before closing his eyes. "Bullshit!" Blake/Jude exclaimed. "Jude, you've got an amazing talent... why are you choosing to keep it in the dark like this?"
"Hellfire Weasle, that's why." He sighed. "I thought I could form a band so I could have fun singing and showing the world the pain and joy in my voice, but sadly I had to silence myself."
"School's going to end early today, so do you have any plans?"
"Yeah actually, I quit my old job because two people I hate works there so I got a new job recently... today's my first day." Jude told the voice in his head.
"Are you okay?" Blake asked. "Yep." Jude said as he got up. Blake just mentally hugged him before saying, "I know you're not okay, I know for some reason you're hurting inside and I won't stop trying to help until you feel happy again."
"Why? You're just a voice in my head." Jude asked as he was confused. "I can't stand idly by and watch as you slowly fade away. Whenever you're hurting, i feel it too."
"Thanks Blake... hey, are you good with an instrument?" "Only the electric guitar, which I only play in your mind because yet again I'm the voice in your head dumbass."
"That's good enough." Jude said. "It looks like my day is just starting." He said before the bell rang. "Later dude... thanks for the help." He said before walking out of the classroom trying to get to his next class.
"How the hell did I help and how the fuck am I leaving? I swear this guy is dumber than a brick." Blake said within Jude's mind.
