Chapter Forty Three: Musical Season

It's been months since Jude and Jay's return after prank week. Halloween was odd, Christmas was dull, and now everyone came back for a new year in 2019.

Byron was sitting in class teaching his students in what seemed to be a boring lesson. Honestly speaking, he himself was falling asleep as seen by his endless yawning as he gave notes that his students had to not down.

His star students were already fast asleep so he then closed his book and slammed it on his desk.

That slam woke up all the students who were sleeping, especially the ones who slept with their eyes open.

"Okay, this lesson had been mind numbingly boring so I'm just going to say this, I give you all two weeks to write an exam that will count for your final musical grade of the year. After you write that exam we can start having fun in class."

"Finally, something exciting, this is some real motivation!!" Beat exclaimed. The rest of the class cheered while Jude stayed silent for some strange reason. He raised his hand and taped his wrist with three fingers.

Byron nodded before Jude got up and ran out the class with his things. Byron shook his head with a look of sorrow on his face. Whatever Jude knew, he somehow knew what it was too.

This didn't go unnoticed by Abby nor did it go unnoticed by Lexi. Something was up and they were gonna get to the bottom of it.

"Okay class, I see you're all motivated but now it's time for my announcement. I've officially started musical season, so don't expect a single chapter without a song because the author decided it to be like that." The class looked at him confused when he said the last bit.

Seriously, stop breaking the fourth wall, it's a fucking pain to repair!!

"Well you decided it should be that way." Byron said. "Mister Green, who are you talking to?" Lexi asked to which Byron said, "Oh, I was talking to myself. Nothing serious."

"Are you sure you're okay?" Paige asked her uncle. "It's okay Paige. Now since most of you know about musical season, I'll leave you to it."

"You haven't explained anything!!" The entire class complained. "Your lives just turned into a musical and it starts next chapter."

Byron I swear to god I will give you food poisoning if you break the fourth wall again.

"You mean tomorrow?" Beat asked. "Exactly mister Grayson." Answered the teacher.

Good boy Byron. Now I need to stop Lars from breaking my fourth wall again.

"If you have no further questions, I'll see you all here tomorrow. Have fun working on your singing voices kids." Said Byron before the bell rang.
