Chapter Eighteen: What?

Jude headed out with Jax to Fast Food Central on account for it being karaoke night. The couple walked intothe restaurant and found the owner and his daughter at the counter.

"No way, Kyle? Melody? I didn't know you guys worked here." Jude said on account for this being his first time there.

"Nah, you got me confused for my brother!! I'm Mad Mike!!" Mad Mike introduced himself to a confused Jude. He looked at the Melody look-a-like and she introduced herself. "Hey, I'm Jenna. You must've had me confused by my cousin."

"Wow, this is really weird... they didn't mention you at all at the Ice Cream Bar." Jude said as he processed the information. "Wait, is this a prank?"

"Nope, because my stupid brother and his daughter just opened up that crummy bar ten minutes ago!!" Mad Mike said loudly since his normal speak was always shouting.

"Lemme guess, table for two?" Jenna said before Jay, Abby, Malcom, Tori, Lexi, Amanda, Lars, Johnny, Vanessa and Jace arrived.

"Woah, never mind this is a part group." Jax said as she spotted the group. "Okay, follow those guys and I'll be with you quickly." Jenna said before the couple headed over to the others.

"Jude, Jax, how's it going?" Amanda asked with a smile. "It's going good Amanda." Jude replied while Jax said, "Things are great."

"So why are you guys here?" Johnny asked before Jude looked at Jax. "This one made me show up for karaoke night."

"I just wanna hear Jude sing." Jax said with a toothy grin.

"Man, I wonder who's beating who? Jace's girlfriend or Jax's boyfriend." Lars said. "Maybe it should be couple against couple." Jace suggested. "You're on bitch." Jax accepted the challenge before Jude and Lexi yelled out, "Did you ask if I was okay with this?" The two looked at their partners making them loss their competitive spirit.

"Okay, but in suggestion... Maybe you guys should compete against each other." Lars said once more before Jace and Johnny said, "Shut up Lars." Followed with Johnny smacking him hard at the back of his head.

"Would you stop with that Johnny?!!" Lars yelled at his friend while rubbing the back of his head.

"Okay, guys... before I take your orders can I ask a favor?" Jenna asked as she walked up to the booth. "Sure thing." Jace said.

"Can you and your girlfriend go up against these two on stage? We need to encourage people to take part in karaoke night." Jenna said as she made her request.

"Sure thing." Lexi replied to her request. "Why doesn't anyone listen to me?" Lars asked himself in silence. "Worst part is that this night is gonna end badly. I feel sorry for Jude."

Jude and Jax went up and they chose their song.

The crowd cheered loudly for the two before Jace and Lexi took the stage.

The crowd went wild for these two as well and now things were tough. It was time for the crowd to vote. Was it Jace and Lexi or was it Jude and Jax? People chanted and chanted but majority went with Jude and Jax.

Jude's eyes lit up as he felt a great sense of happiness. "We did it Jax!!" He said as he hugged her. He wanted to go in for a kiss but she stopped him immediately.

He was confused. Jax took out her phone and she texted him something. He got the message and it read: Surprise!! This was a prank punk. We were never dating.

His soul instantaneously shattered as he read it. The life in his eyes died. He was on cloud 9 but was then pulled down to hell. All Jude could say was, "What?"
