Jude and Bailey managed to pull themselves together. They still had an hour left before the others came back. Bailey went to get dinner for the two started while Jude slowly walked to his room. He was growing weaker with each minute.

Before he made it there he started to cough violently. Bailey heard it and rushed to her brother's side. When she made it there she found him coughing up blood. With his immune system shattered he was a fragile as a baby. The sight horrified her. She couldn't bare to see her brother in pain like this.

She helped him up and into his room. He managed to take his meds and put on his mask and scarf. He's been pale and he was getting worse each day. This made her think that the doctors could've been wrong and that he was gonna leave her sooner than expected. Strange thing was that Jude was thinking the exact same thing considering how much pain he was feeling in his chest and lungs.

It was getting tougher to breathe for him. Seeing him in this state, she didn't want to leave his side.

The door to the dorms opened and voices were heard. The others were back. "Let's go." Jude said before Bailey helped him up. They made it to the common area where Bailey helped Jude get to a couch.

He could still move on his own but his sister wanted to do this for him and she wasn't taking no for an answer.

"Jude, haven't seen you in a while." Malcom smiled. "Jesus man you look terrible." Jace commented.

"Guys, we have something to tell you." Bailey spoke up. "No good conversation has ever come out of those words." Lexi said as she sat down.

"Is something wrong?" Abby asked before Jude nodded. "What's wrong?" Vanessa asked before Jude said, "I'm dying."

Everyone froze. Johnny dropped his can of cola, Vanessa dropped her slice of pizza and everyone else either almost choked or did a spit take before looking at him.

"You're joking, right?" Paige asked as she couldn't believe this. He shook his head before she got up and ran out crying. Jax got up to follow her leaving the rest to hear what he has to say.

"I've got leukemia. It's terminal. Doctors gave me about two weeks. I think it might be less." Jude said with a hoarse voice. Half of them thought it was a prank. The rest were shocked and saddened.

"How long have you known about this?" Abby asked her best friend. "A few days now. I know I couldn't wait until I was in life support on my death bed to tell you all but I didn't want anyone worrying about me." Jude replied. He couldn't even look at his friends.

"I'm sorry." Jude said as a tear escaped his eye. "You're a dumbass you know that? Even though we aren't dating anymore I still love you. And it's because I love you, that I can't even get mad at you for dying." Jay said.

"So death pulled you to his door, it means nothing. We'll just spend the rest of our time with you until you kick the bucket." Abby said. "You're like a brother to me so don't even think that things are over now that you're dying." Malcom said. "I second that." Lexi and Tori said.

"You've been a good friend." Jace said. "Nothing's gonna change that." David added. Lars, Johnny and Vanessa gave him a thumbs up while Danielle and Amanda gave him a gently hug.

He saw how supportive they were being. Jax soon came in and said, "Hey Jude, Paige has something to say to you in your room."

"It's finally happening!" Abby raised her fist into the air. "Jude's gonna get lucky tonight." Jace snickered before Johnny was whistling.

He slowly got up and followed Jax to his dorm. He walked in to find Paige sitting on his bed. He sat down next to her and looked at her. He was madly in love with this girl but he couldn't say it.

"How long do you have?" She asked. "Less than two weeks." He told her before she forced his body to shift to the right, facing her. She took off the scarf and mask from him and planted her soft lips against his dry ones. He was surprised that she was doing this but he didn't question it as he leaned in to return the kiss.

They soon let go of each other, breaking the kiss. Paige licked her lips and it tasted of iron. She knew what she tasted from his lips. Blood.

"I planned on telling you tonight but you just said, 'I'm dying everyone'!" Paige told him. "I'm in love with you Jude Hathaway." She said. He tried to reach for his mask and scarf but Paige kept it away from him. "You're not getting these back. I don't want you covering your face with me around."

"My immune system is shattered because of my leukemia. I need those back." He told he before she smiled and handed them back to him.

"Look Paige, I've been in love with you for quite some time now. I'm just not sure if this is what we should do." Jude said before she just hugged him.

"Love, I don't care that you're dying. I still want to be with you. If you only have two weeks left then let's make every moment count." Paige said before Jude returned the hug.

"If that's what you want, then let's make it official." He said before kissing her this time. She gladly returned it before he put his mask and scarf back on.

She decided to leave so he could rest but he grabbed her by the waist and pulled her in.

"You're not going anywhere. I wanna sleep knowing you're by my side." Jude said as he got into bed. Paige smiled at this before climbing into bed with him.

"Good night love." Paige said before Jude said, "Good night love of my life." The two then snuggled up against each other as they fell asleep.
