Jace and Johnny were walking through the large hallways of their school. They seemed bored when something caught their eyes. The cheerleaders were putting up a banner that said: HOMECOMING.
They looked to the wall and saw that the homecoming dance was in three weeks. A lot of people saw this and one thing happened. Jace said, "Three, two one." After the one, all the girls in the area yelled in pure excitement.
It was Saturday and it was boring. As if it was a Sunday. Alexander Academy might have been a fun boarding school to go to but it was logic that some of the students realised that they were still in school, especially those in senior year like Johnny, Jay, Abby, Amanda and Malcom.
Jace looked and was left in his own thoughts. It wasn't long before Johnny snapped him out of his thoughts.
"Aye Sonic, this is your chance to ask Lexi out." Johnny said. Jace looked at his friend before realising what his dark skinned friend just said. He paled after hearing those words.
"What? Thought I didn't know?" Johnny said trying to muffle his laughter. This made Jace blush from the embarrassment.
"Was I really that obvious?" He asked looking down. "Only to everyone but Lexi." Johnny said slapping Jace's shoulder. "So... What are our plans for today?" Jace asked.
"I gotta get off to practice for that football game, but maybe I can get Lars to help you with your game... how about we meet up at Fast Food Central at four?"
"Sure thing." He said before fistbumping Johnny and leaving.

"So I thought that maybe we could try finding new members for our band." Jude said. Jay just looked at him with a skeptical expression.
"And where did you get that idea?"
"Homecoming is in three weeks and I thought that it could be good practice for Battle of the Bands." Jude told his friend. "Okay, say I agreed, who would we even get?" Jay said.
"Abby can play drums, Malcom can play electric with you, Tobi can play bass and I now need to think of a lead singer."
Jax tried to hold back her laughter after Jude's last few words. Jay had a smirk on his face and Jude was left confused. "What's so funny?"
"Nothing, other than the fact that you're a good enough singer as it is." Jax told Jude. Jay just nodded in agreement with their new colleague.
"It's so impressive that you put yourself down so much. Your goal was to build confidence in the band by your little homecoming gig but you really need a bigger confidence boost than that." Jude was just stunned after hearing those words.
"Am I wrong? Come on... tell me that I'm lying, I dare you." Jax told Jude with a great display of confidence. Jude was left speechless. All Jay did was chuckle before saying, "I'll leave the band name up to you."
After saying that, Jay just left the two alone. "Wow, I did not think he'd agree." Jude muttered to himself.
"Hey Jude, our shift ends in ten minutes, you wanna go somewhere?" Jax asked. "Sure thing, I got this perfect place we can go to." Jude said with a small smile.
"You don't smile much do you?" Jax asked taking note of Jude. "Smiling is overrated." Jude said before making a call to his best friend Abby.
_____"Come on Jace!! You can do better than that!!" Lars yelled at Jace. "Would you shut up! I got some shit on my mind!!" Jace yelled while he was skating.
"Think about Lexi later, right now you need to get your mind on Ice Hockey!" Lars yelled once more. That comment made Jace lose his balance and fall down, causing him to hit the ice hard.
"I never knew Lexi could make you fall like that." A masked ice skater went up to him. "Who are you?" Jace asked feeling angry and embarrassed.
The ice skater took her mask off before laughing at him. When she took it off, it revealed the one and only Vanessa Stewart.
"Vanessa??!!" Jace and Lars yelled in unison. "That's my name, don't wear it out." She said.
"What are you doing here?" Jace asked before getting up. "Can't I have my hobbies?"
"Ok, Jace, buddy... maybe you should get over to Lexi and stop talking to Vanessa." Lars said trying to stop what ever tensions that might have started.
"Oh yeah, I gotta go." Jace said as he remembered that he asked Lexi out on a date. He looked at the time and yelled, "Oh shit!!" He got off the ice rink and headed towards the locker rooms. He came out in some civilian clothing and kept muttering, "I'm gonna be late!!"

"So where are we going?" Jax asked as she was walking with Jude, who was leading her to some place.
"Okay, we should be there in three, two, and..." Jude found a door. He knocked on it before a small space opened up near the door. "Password?"
"Suck my dick." Jude said before the space closed and the door opened. The loner of Alexander Academy took Jax's hand before walking in. It was dark until she saw that they were in a tavern. It didn't look like your usual tavern that was filled with drunkards, no. This place looked classy. Almost sophisticated. Only thing was that she saw an age limit. 13-24.
Anyone above wouldn't be allowed to enter. This shocked Jax to a new degree.
It was a bar for teens and young adults. "Jude Hathaway, I'm surprised you didn't show up with your other friend." A girl said she approached them. She had a dark skin complexion, onyx black eyes, and brown messy hair.
"Hey kiddo, where's your dad?" He said, mocking her. She looked at him with a cold death stare before looking at Jax. "I don't think we met, I'm Melody. Welcome to whatever you wanna call this place."
"Hey Melody, I'm Jax." Jax introduced herself. "Is this even legal?"
"Like hell it is. What place like this do you see with teens getting as drunk as they possibly can in this country?" Melody said while chuckling.
"Wow. A new thing I get to know about you Jude."
"It's nothing special. I thought we could use a drink, so I brought us here. Just keep it on the DL." Jude told Jax before heading over to sit down.
