Chapter Thirty Seven: The Ice Cream has melted

Jay and Jax looked from the roof and found six cop cars. They both silently cursed as they stayed hidden. They knew it. Wade went too far this time. More than half the student body was smoking the weed so a lot of people were screwed. He was gonna die. There was no doubt about it.

All students, gather by your dorms until further notice. Said the principal through the intercoms. The two groaned before they left the roof and hurried to their dorms.

While walking they saw dogs. The police had dogs with them. They were about to be blown to hell. Yet again, the two now with every other student silently cursed.

Abby saw Wade who had a prideful look on his face. It was so obvious that he called the cops and now someone would have to call the morgue.

The cops kept searching every room and every student. A lot came out guilty. When they reached Jude's room, shit hit the fan fast.

Abby texted Jude to hurry back from work because the cops were searching his room and asking for his whereabouts. Nobody except Jax, Jay and Abby knew where he was.

"Where's the kid who stays in this dorm?" Asked the police chief. "I know where he is." Said Wade. The three were already among the guilty group that was put together.

They all glared daggers at him but he felt strong that since he was with the police. "He's at an illegal underground bar." Abby, Jay and Jax paled when he mentioned the Ice Cream Bar. "I can lead you there." The police then chose to let Wade lead them there.

Abby texted Jude to tell him to evacuate the bar because Wade gave up the location. Jude was on his way to leaving the place but the text he received made the colour drain from his body. They were all screwed.

The ran to the stage and stopped the DJ. Everyone in there got angry that he stopped the music but Jude stopped by saying, "Guys, we have a code black, the ice cream has melted, I repeat the ice cream has melted!!"

Everyone in there knew that code. "Everyone out the back!!!" Kyle yelled from the bar. Everyone started to run out yelling in fear and panic. Jude was scared. He needed an alibi. "Jude, follow me!" Kyle yelled as he saw the now panicked Jude.

Jude ran out the back with Kyle and Melody before getting into Kyle's car. On the way, Kyle called his brother and asked him to lie. Mad Mike was going to be Jude's alibi. Kyle told Jude that he'd text him the details of the new location but for now he was jobless.

Jude was dropped off at Fast Food Central before walking back to school. He made it there before the cops but he was beyond pissed. When he got there he was angry and depressed. This was because he lost his job. Wade went too far this time and Jude had enough.

When the cops came back they left due to there being no physical evidence that Demon Blaze Green Goblin ever existed. All that was left was a snitch and a whole school full of pissed off students.

Well... that's what would've happened if Jude's hope for getting out alive actually took place. Unfortunately he was still left alone at the Ice Cream Bar.

"This is the police!! Come out with your hands up!!" He heard the cops outside. His heart sank before he dropped down to floor of the stage.

He took out his phone before sitting down properly and crossing his legs.

He opened up his contacts list and called Bailey.

Jude: Hey Bay.

Bailey: Jude, where are you? The cops are out looking for you.

Jude: Moments away from being arrested. Sorry sis, but I'm gonna take the fall for everyone at the Ice Cream Bar. Tell the guys I'm gonna miss them, tell Paige that I err... like her and remember this. I love you sis, just remember me before this instead of me now. Later.

He hung up. He put his phone away and deleted his contacts list, his texts, he basically wiped his phone before the cops came busting into the now abandoned Ice Cream Bar.

"That's him officer, that's Jude." Said a smug Wade. "Jude Hathaway, I'm hereby placing you under arrest. You have the right to an attorney and the right to remain silent. Anything you do or say can and will be used against you in a court of law."

"Just take me away, I'm already gonna be voted guilty by the jury anyway." Said Jude as he lost all hope.

The cop cuffed him before he was taken to the back of one of the cop cars.

He looked out the window one last time before he was taken away.

As for Jay... He was arrested as well thanks to Wade telling the cops where he kept the last of the Green Goblin.

In order to sum it up, this was the real ending. Nobody got their happy ever after.
