"I had a fun time Jude. See ya again next week?" Jax said. "Of course. Oh and I got something to ask you." Jude said.
______
"Where the hell is he? He calls us to this stupid meeting only to make US wait." Abby said as she was growing more frustrated by the minute.
"Abby, chill... I'm sure Jude has a good reason for being late." Malcom said trying to calm his friend down.
And on cue, Jude busts in breathing heavily. "Sorry I'm late guys." Jude said before sitting down.
"Where were you, we've been waiting for twenty minutes. Jay was about to leave and Abby was about hunt you down so she could kill you." Tobi told the loner.
"Wow, did I have to bring an apology gift too?" Jude asked as he rolled his eyes. "Donuts." Abby said.
"Excuse me?"
"You owe us all donuts, you fucking asshole." Abby finished. "Okay, I owe you donuts. Now can we start this meeting?"
"Yes, finally." Malcom groaned breaking character. This left Abby, Jude and Tobi surprised.
"Okay, so we all know what we play. Abby is our drummer, Jay's got electric, Malcom's the lead guitarist, Tobi has bass and I'm lead singer." Jude said establishing the roles of the band members.
"Lead singer? More like only singer." Jay said making everyone but Jude Jude laugh. All Jude did was slowly shake his head with a small smile on his face.
"Okay, next thing, a name for our band?" Jude spoke once more calling for internal debate within the band members.
It went on for about five minutes before Jude said, "Ya know what? Fuck it! Maybe we should focus on our first gig before Battle of the Bands."
"Yeah, but what?" Tobi asked. "I was thinking about Homecoming." Jude told the group. "Homecoming?! Are you nuts?!" Abby asked.
"Think about it, it'll be perfect practice for us for when we have to play in a large crowd." Jude said trying to convince his best friend.
"Why should we even be a band and why enter Battle of the Bands?" Tobi spoke up once more."
"Did I mention that the prize for winning is five thousand bucks?" Abby and Tobi's attention was caught by those words.
"I take it you're in. Plus it'll look good on your resume when people ask you about the extra mural activities that you have done."
"I'm in!" Tobi sprung up. "Same here." Abby said with a huge smile. (No doubt that she's thinking about the money)
"I was already in. I was just waiting for these two knuckle heads to agree." Malcom yawned.
"So I'll leave the band name up to you guys?" Jude said making them all look at him. "Meeting adjourned people." Jude said before bolting off to the unknown.
"I thought he already came up with one." Jay muttered under his voice. "He's a real idiot."
