Chapter Twenty One: Done

After three hours of searching the group decided to call it for the night. Jax headed back home and the rest headed back to school. It was painful. Jude could've killed himself for all they knee and they felt nothing but guilt.

Malcom kissed Tori good night before going back to his dorm room. When he made it there he made some... discoveries.

First, the room wreaked of vomit and alcohol. Second there were clothes tossed around. Third, there were two people sleeping there other than David... one was identified as Jude and the other as Melody. Jude was just in a t-shirt and boxers while Melody was in a her shorts and she was completely topless. Malcom quickly averted his eyes due to the fact that he was loyal to Tori and only Tori.

He just went to bed and decided to question the two in the morning.

"What time is it?" Jude groaned as he woke up to the sound of the room's alarm.

"Can you turn that off? My head's killing me." Melody as well as she got up from her disturbed slumber. Both of them felt like shit due to their intense hangovers.

Jude noticed the way they were both dressed and the fact that they were in his bed. He looked at her and noticed she was naked from the waist up. He looked at her breasts for a quick second before looking somewhere else.

"Melody? You're err..." he said with a blush before pointing at the twins on her chest. She looked down and shrieked before covering them up. Jude held his hands against his ears and temples since Melody's shriek made his already splitting headache much worse.

"Did we?" She asked in fear. Jude looked around and the mess that was his room and he looked at her with a look of fear. "I don't know... you're a virgin right? Do you feel different down there? Any pain?" He replied.

"I'm not sure, I can't feel anything other than this headache." She told him. "What time is it?" She asked before Jude looked at his wristwatch. "Five thirty... looks like we have plenty of time to get you back home. My classes don't start till seven thirty."

"Okay, let's go." She said before she noticed the vomit stains on her t-shirt. He gave her one of his clean ones and changed before they headed out.

They walked for about a half an hour before making it back to Melody's house. She took the spare key hidden under the rock near the door and got in. She looked at him and said, "Thanks for walking me back Jude... I hope you can call me when you need someone to talk to." She had a smile on her face before Jude gave her a pure smile to show that he was happy. It was a rare sight indeed.

For the first time in a long time, Jude felt happy. Genuinely happy. He walked back to school with a smile on his face and with a lighter aura. He only had one worrying thought and he shared that same thought with Melody... Did Jude and Melody lose their virginity to each other the previous night or not? That was something he'd have to figure out for himself.

He managed to make it back to wash up and get ready for class on time which was a good thing, but he also did his best to avoid the others.

He couldn't escape the inevitable though because it was time for his lunch break and he sat alone... well not for long anyway.

"Jude... look about last night..." Abby started to speak before Jude interrupted her by saying, "Save the sorries and worries and leave me alone. That goes to all of you." He looked at them all before getting up.

"You knew that I was unstable but you all decided to play a prank that was gonna fuck with my emotions without considering how I was gonna feel. But in the end, nobody gives a fuck about Jude Hathaway... I can't believe I thought you all gave a shit. I was wrong. Stay away from me from now on... I'm done." And like that, Jude left the cafeteria with a look of pain and hatred on his face.

He was done. They were his friends no more.
