I walked back towards Becca's with a few tears in my eyes. I was almost there when some kids walked behind me and laughed.

"What a freak!" said a boy.

"Have you seen what he wears? Talk about no clothing," said another.

"Look at his hair? It's like a palm tree."

"Yeah, talk about weird."

I grew angry and turned towards them, "If you have a problem with me, say it to my face! Don't talk to my back and think I didn't hear you! You probably didn't notice, but I have ears."

They were taken back and a few of them ran, but three remained there.

"What are you going to do about it? It's not like anyone here trusts you. Other than that dense woman," said one of them.

"Don't you dare talk about her that way!" I yelled.

"Why? She's the joke of this entire village. We all think she's going to get killed one day by bringing in some maniac and then when she's dead, we will be too," said another.

"Don't say that! You don't even know her! You never sat down to talk to her! She's caring, yes, but cautious as well."

"Aww, does someone have feelings for Becca?" one mocked.

I sneered, "How old do you think I am?"

"You look seventeen," said one.

"And we can't tell if you're a guy or a girl."

"Well for starters, I'm a guy. And second, I am 15 years old!"

They all took a step back, "How can you be 15 years old?" asked one.

"Yeah you look a bit older!"

That's right. How can I be 15 and remember the age? (I know in the anime Envy is like 175, but not in this story!) I shook away the thought and turned my attention back to the three boys.

"Becca is thirty-four. Why would I have feelings for her? It would seem weird, wouldn't it?" They all nodded and I walked towards them, "Now, make like three good little boys and run off. I bet your moms are waiting for you."

They all ran off and I was walking back towards Becca's. A few of her neighbors were watching what had happened.

"Why would you treat a few boys like that?"

"Is it not right to stand up to people who call you names?"

"It is, but not in that manner."

I shrugged her off and walked towards the door.

"You know, Becca would not do this to just anyone."

"Do what?"

"Be motherly. I know she's caring, but to actually think you're like a child to her, that never really happens."

I sighed, "Duly noted."

I walked inside and sat down at the table. The names came flooding back and tears streamed down my face. I placed the palm of my hands over my eyes and cried slightly. The door opened and I soon found a pair of arms wrapped around my shoulders. I removed my hands to see Becca hugging me.

"What happened, Envy?"

"Three brats came over and started calling me names. They were getting on you and I tried to defend you. Thought I had feelings for you."

"Envy, they're just being boys. Besides, you're way too young for me," she laughed.

I smiled, "Thank you."

"No problem," she hugged me once more.

I slowly raised my arms and hugged her back. This was the first time I felt motherly love. It was a feeling I never wanted to lose.

"Was it really him?" a man asked.

"Yes. I saw him with both of my eyes."

The man sighed and looked at the one facing him, "What are we going to do?"

"We can't kill him! He's too strong."

"He doesn't even know what he is! He thinks he's a human."

"Should we let him keep thinking that?"

"Obviously!" The man sighed and looked at the one in front of him, "Look, when we track down the other six, we should tell him. But we need to wait if we can track down at least another."

"Why can't we wait until we have all six?"

"Because we wouldn't know the outcome of having all seven in one single room."

"I've seen two travel together when I was in central."

"That was just two. Imagine having seven! Look, if we need to, we can just take the one here and drag him along to find the other six."

"Sir?"

"Yes?"

"What about my daughter?"

"What about her?"

"If we plan on getting all seven here, shouldn't we take her somewhere safe."

"I think that'll be the best plan. To keep her somewhere safe until we know how they're all going to act."

"Understood."

"Good. I think you should find that safe house sooner rather than later."

"Yes, sir!"

~3 Weeks Later~

"Becca?" I asked.

"Yes, Envy?"

"Do you think I should talk to that man that came?"

She stopped cutting bread and looked at me. She gave me a soft smile, "I think you should."

"Alright." I was walking out of the house before she called me. "Yeah?"

"You can call me mom, Envy."

I nodded and left. That was going to be weird until I got used to it. I headed towards the center and then out towards the path of the man's house. A few people were giving me weird looks and a few spat at me. I looked at them in a disgusted manner. I made it to the small house and knocked on the door. A few minutes passed until a girl opened the door.

"Umm, is Dr. L/N here?"

"Who's asking?"

"I am. He came over to Becca's to look at my leg."

She closed the door and a few moments later the man appeared.

"Oh, it's you. What do you need? Is Becca ok?"

"Becca's fine. I need to ask you a question."

"Um, sure. Come on in."

I walked in and saw the same girl and another man.

"Please, tell me your name."

"Envy."

"Envy, nice to meet you again. This is my daughter, Y/N. And this is my brother, Lewis Must."

"Nice to meet you," I said.

The daughter nodded and the brother gave me a weird look. I turned back toward the doctor. It was this weird feeling inside me made me think he was familiar looking. After looking at him for a second, a sharp pain shot through the back of my head. I winced at the pain and leaned up against the wall, clutching my head.

"Envy? Envy, is everything ok?" the doctor asked.

"No."
