"After you had gotten her legs back, Y/N made it to the train station in time to catch up with us. It's a good thing you're not human. Or other wise you'd would almost be dead. But after you had lost your legs, we brought you here. I was about to call Winry, but your legs were already growing back."

"Growing back?"

"It appears homunculus can regenerate lost limbs, but it will take a while before you have your entire legs back," Roy said.

"Are you feeling ok, Envy?" Riza asked.

"I'm fine. Just in pain from the waist down."

"That's going to happen for a while. But I will say this, your first mission was a success. No casualties and you brought down the Wooden Alchemist. Good job, Envy," Roy said.

"Thank you, Colonel."

"I'll let you get some rest," he said and walked out with Riza. Ed and Al left afterwards and I was alone in the room. I looked out the window and saw the blue sky above. There were little clouds in the sky. But the ones that were in the sky were gray. It looked like it was going to rain. After about an hour of doing absolutely nothing, there was a knock on the door.

"Come in," I said.

The door opened up and I looked into E/C eyes. I smiled as Y/N smiled back at me. She sat down on the side of the bed and kissed my forehead.

"How's my little worm?" she asked.

I laughed lightly, "Alright. How about you?"

"I'm doing the best I can."

"Do you know when I'm going to get out of here?"

"I'm sorry, Envy, I don't."

I sighed and she reached over and took my hand. I smiled and took her hand into mine, "I'm glad you're here."

"Why?"

"What?"

"Why, Envy?"

"Why what?"

"Why did you use alchemy to heal me? I'm grateful and all, but you shouldn't have to be sitting in here waiting for you to regenerate."

"I had to, Y/N," I said as I sat up.

"Why? I would have been perfectly fine to have automail. I know Winry makes the best automail there is."

"I know, but I wanted you to have real legs before you need to get automail legs. I want you to be human. Because I can't get the chance to be. You were born human and I will do my damn best to keep you the way you are." I kissed her knuckle, "I don't want you to change, Y/N."

She smiled and kissed my head, "I don't want you to change either, Envy."

"And I won't. If it means having you in my life."

For the rest of the night, Y/N was next to me in the bed. Her arms were wrapped around my neck as mine were wrapped around her waist. Her head was nuzzled against my neck and my head was atop of hers.

"Y/N."

"Yeah?"

"Are you asleep?"

"No."

"Ok."

"Why?"

"Just wondering."

"There has to be a reason, Envy."

"I'm feeling weird inside."

"What do you mean?"

"Like I'm feeling the need to have you."

"Did you always have that feeling?"

"No."

"Just now?"

"And a few other times."

She looked up at me and I looked into her E/C eyes.

"I think I know what you're feeling."

"Can you tell me?"

She thought for a moment, "No."

"Why not?" I asked.

"Because I want you to figure it out."

"I can't figure it out!"

"Sure you can. I'll help you."

She pressed her lips against mine. But it wasn't that nice, gentle feeling. No. It was full of fire and passion. I kissed back, with the same amount of passion she was giving me. My tongue ran along her bottom lip. She gladly accepted and opened her mouth slightly. My tongue slid across hers as she moaned. My hands slid down to her waist and pulled her closer to me, deepening the kiss. Her's wrapped around my neck and she played with my long hair. I pulled away, needing to breathe. Before I did, I bit her bottom lip and pulled at it. She smiled at me. I kissed her cheek and went down to her neck. She moaned quietly and pulled me closer. I gently kissed her neck here and there.

"Envy," she whispered.

I smirked and bit down on her neck. She jumped a bit. I smiled and left a few hickeys.

"Now everyone will know you're mine and only mine."

"Did that satisfy your feeling?" she asked.

"I think so. For now."

She smiled and kissed my cheek. I kissed hers and we fell back onto the bed.

"Goodnight, Y/N. I love you."

"I love you too, Envy. Goodnight," she said and fell asleep on my shoulder.

I wrapped my arms around her and fell asleep happily, knowing she was safe in my arms.

In the morning I woke up to an empty space next to me. I sighed as I remembered what happened last night. I wanted that back. I wanted her back next to my side. I looked up and saw Riza walking in.

"Lieutenant," I said.

"Good morning, Envy. How are you feeling?"

"I'm feeling fine."

She sat down and Roy came in and sat next to Riza.

"Colonel Mustang, is everything alright?"

"Everything is fine," he said.

"Where's Y/N?"

"I came in earlier this morning to find her sleeping with you. I don't know what happened last night, but she wasn't supposed to stay the entire night. I had woken her up before you were up and she left," Riza said. "I'm sorry, Envy, but we should of told you that before you two went to sleep."

"Is she safe?"

"She is in her apartment and Ed and Al are watching after her," Roy said.

"When am I getting out of here?"

"That's why we're here," Riza said.

"We are taking you to rehab. To make sure you're strong enough," Roy said.

I nodded, not quite understanding why though. I got up and together we walked down to the rehab center. I felt completely fine. We ran a few tests and by early afternoon, I was finally released.

"Thank you again, Colonel Mustang."

"No problem, Envy."

"Oh before you go, we wanted to give you this," Riza said and handed me an envelope.

"What's this?" I asked.

"Open it when you get back to the apartment," Roy smirked.

I nodded and headed back to the apartment.
