In the morning, I found Y/N sleeping on top of me. Her head was against my chest. I smiled and kissed her head. I rubbed her back as she slowly woke up.

"Morning, sleepy head," I smiled.

Morning, palm tree."

I chuckled and kissed her forehead. Even with a stupid nickname like that, I couldn't help but smile at how adorable she said it. She crawled onto the other side of the bed and looked into my purple eyes.

"What do you want to do today? I don't have work today," I said.

"Neither do I," she said.

"Why don't we go on a walk?"

"Envy?"

"Yeah?"

"Can you show me your true form?"

"Which one? The giant lizard or the small worm?"

"Both."

"Well, for me to turn into the giant lizard, I need to be outside. And probably far away from others."

"What about your smaller form?"

"I can try."

I sat down on the floor and tried to focus. I never tried to turn into my true form on demand. It was hard at first, but I think I had managed. I opened my eyes and saw Y/N towering over me.

"Did I do it?" I asked.

"Aww! Your voice is so high and so cute!"

"I think I did it," I smiled.

She came over and picked me up. "Look at how tiny you are!"

"Hey!"

"Sorry, but you're just so cute, Envy. You're a little worm," she smiled and patted my head.

I patted her palm and tried to smile at her, but with a a lot of teeth it didn't look that friendly.

"Do I really sound that helpless?"

"A bit."

I sighed, "Can I turn back now?"

"I'll take you outside and find somewhere safe for you to turn into your other form."

"Thanks. Make sure no one sees me."

"I'll make sure of that," she said.

She changed quickly as I curled onto her pillow and fell asleep. She put on a jacket, since the days were getting colder as it changed from summer to fall. She picked me up and put me in her pocket. I poked my head out and looked up at her.

"You really don't have to do this, Y/N."

"I really want to see your other form."

"Only for you," I smiled.

She walked out of the apartment and I crawled onto her shoulder after we left.

"I thought you said that no one is allowed to see you," she said.

"I can do what I want, Y/N," I said.

"Alright."

"Are we almost there yet?"

"I honestly don't know where I am going."

"Well isn't that great," I sighed.

"Do you have any better ideas?"

I thought for a moment, then I got an idea, "The woods behind the apartment."

"Do you think that will be enough coverage?"
