We arrived to the closest train station to our village. It was a bit of a walk, but we made do. While we were walking, Y/N was taking note of the wildlife. I was taking note of how she awed at it. We kept on walking until we made it to Y/N's house. Sitting on the front step was her boyfriend. As soon as we made it into view, he ran towards her. She ran towards him and they met in the middle. I grew disgusted and moved on.

"Envy, don't you want to meet my boyfriend?"

"Not really. I need to see Becca."

"Becca? No one has seen her since you left," said the boy.

"What?" I asked and turned towards him. "What the hell happened while I was gone?"

"Nothing much. It's just that, after you left, she locked herself in the house and waited for your return."

I looked in the distance and saw Becca's house. I dropped my things and ran towards her house.

"Envy, wait!" she called.

I didn't want to believe it. But my mind was telling me she was gone. I ran into the village and saw people were staring at me. I made my way towards Becca's house, but her neighbor stopped me.

"You can't go in there."

"Out of my way!"

I moved past her and saw the door was locked. I sneered and tried to unlock one of the windows. None budged. I did the only thing I could do. I took a rock and threw it into the window. A small hole appeared in the window. I managed climbing through, but a few cuts appeared on my skin and bled. I didn't care.

"Becca? Becca where are you?"

"Envy?" she asked.

"Becca!" I ran towards the sound of her voice and found her lying in her bed. I sighed in relief and walked towards her. "Becca, what are you doing in here?"

"I was waiting for you, Envy."

I turned on the light. She looked happy to see me. Everything about her was the same. Same smile, same hair, and same eyes. Tears streamed down her eyes as I approached her.

"I'm home, m-mother."

"I'm glad you're back safely," she smiled. She opened up her arms and I walked into them. She wrapped her arms around my shoulders.

"It's nice to be back home."

"I'm glad you're back."

I helped her out of bed and towards the kitchen. We sat down and ate together when there was a knock at the door. I opened to find Y/N standing there with her boyfriend.

"What?" I asked.

"Envy, step away from Becca," said her friend.

"Why should I?"

"That's not the real Becca," he said.

"She sure is! Tell me, does this not look like Becca?"

"Envy, back away from her," Y/N said.

"Why should I? Oh, I get it. You're trying to rip the one and only person who gave me everything so I can go back to having nothing! Or do you want to take Becca for yourself, Y/N?"

"What?" she asked.

"I see it clear as day! You want to get Becca for yourself because you lack a mother! So you're trying to take mine away from me!"

"Envy," said Becca.

"Yes, Becca?"

"They're right about one thing."
