Chapter 6

Hayley's POV

"So Blaze first we are going to brush Blaze." I go on to explain the different types of brushes to Luke and what they are used for.

Once done with that I lead him into the tack room to show him what he will use. After all of the tack is collected we go back out to saddle Blaze.

We have gotten as far as the saddle and Luke is just not getting how to do it. I get impatient and move him out of the way to do it myself. And the whole time I can feel his eyes on me.

I get the bridle on for Luke and have him lead Blaze out into the round pen. He gets on easily which I am thankful for and does well until I ask him to trot and that's when he starts yanking on the reins wobbling all over confusing Blaze.

Luke's POV

I stop Bull or whatever it's name is. "I don't know why I need to learn to ride or do any of this. What's the point?" I ask, "It will teach you how to control yourself and an animal that is five times your weight and could kill you." She explains.

"Still doesn't make since." I say, "Don't care. Now come on, heels down head up and relax a little bit. Show me a sitting trot." She says.

I begin to do what I think is a trot but then Hayley starts yelling again. "A trot is a 2 beat gate movement. And while doing a sitting trot you should keep your ass in the saddle, apposed to in a post trot when you move up down up down, or a two point where you stay up. All of these have 2 beats." She explains but I really don't have any idea to what she said meant.

"Okay. Come on I think we are done. We have been at this for a while and Blaze is covered in sweat so we will probably have to hose him down." She says, I mutter 'finally' under my breath and hop off of the horse. Before following Hayley back into the barn.

Hayley's POV

It actually starts to get kind of painful to watch Luke ride so I decide to call it a day with that. And Blaze was covered in sweat. So we leave the round pen and I have Luke unsaddle Blaze by himself.

Which was pretty fun to watch.

"Okay" I start after Luke put all the tack away. Because Blaze is so sweaty we are going to hose her down." I explain, "So lead him outside and tie him how I showed you."

So Luke does that while I go and get the hose. I hand Luke the hose and walk back to turn the water on. And without thinking to ask I turn it on and I then quickly hear Luke scream.

"Damn it Hayley!" I walk over and see that Luke ended up spraying himself, "Didn't you think to ask?" He says.

I start laughing and shake my head. "Oh so you think this is funny?" "Yeah" I say. And before I know it Luke sprays me with the hose.

"Oh your dead now." I said going towards him.

He quickly sprays me again but I keep walking towards him. When I reach I go for the hose but he keeps it out of reach. He picks me up and continues to spray me while walking over to the faucet.

"Damn it Luke put me down!" I yell, "Nope" he says popping the 'p'.

Luke's POV

As I have Hayley scratching and scrambling in my arms as I spray her I walk over to the faucet by the hay bales to turn the water off. As soon as I do though I trip and Hayley and I go into the hay.

I land on top of Hayley our faces just inches apart. And I can feel myself slowly inching closer. And before I know it out lips connect.

At first it seemed like it was just going to be a small, short and sweet kiss but it quickly turned into something more.

I put my hand to her face cupping her cheek while my other hand is at her ass, as she hooks her leg around my waist.
