"Hayley! What is going on? Talk to me baby we can figure it out; we always do." I say while pounding on her door.
Ever since I've come home since yesterday Hayley hasn't acknowledged me one bit. I don't know what happened but I'm worried.
It's 5:00pm and I've been outside her door for about 30 minutes, I'm sitting next to it when she comes out in her robe. I stand up so fast I almost trip.
I go up to her and try and hold her but she pushes me away, "Baby what are you doing?" I ask, as she goes into the bathroom and brushes her teeth.
I walk up behind her and place kisses on her neck but she shrugs me away. I step back and slide down the wall and put my head in my hands. She shuts the water off and goes back to her room.
Hayleys POV
This is absolute torture, I hate doing this to Luke but it's what I have to do, or else so many bad things will happen. I'm doing this for us. And to protect him.
Luke POV
I go downstairs eventually and get a beer from the fridge, I open it up and take a long drink before going in the living room and sitting on the couch. Jack one of the dogs jumps up and sits with me on the couch.
About an hour later I've gone through 4 and a half beers when there is a knock on the door. I get up and stumble a little bit walking over to the door to open it. As soon as I see who it is I slam it shut again.
He knocks again, I open it, "What the fuck do you want," I shout at Andrew, "I'm here for Hayley," he responds and smirks at me that's all it takes I raise my fist ready to punch but I'm caught by the softest hands in the world.
"Luke don't," she tells me. "We are back together, we are going to his fathers event tonight I'll be back late don't wait up," she tells me her eyes never meeting mine.
"Bull fucking shit, you would never get back together with him." I tell her, "Well I did, so if you will excuse me." She says before linking arms with Andrew and walking out to the limousine.
Hayleys POV
I'm upstairs finishing getting ready when I hear the door slam shut, Andrew must be here, I slip my shoes on and check my makeup before grabbing my clutch and walking downstairs.
I get there just in time to catch Luke's fist, this is going to be painful.
"We are back together. We are going to his fathers event tonight I won't be back till late don't wait up." I say before linking arms with Andrew and walking away.
My heart hurts so much, I couldn't even look Luke in the eyes, it hurt so much. But I have to remind myself this is what needs to be done.
A/N: woah two updates in one day? I know I'm shocked too! So if I ever make more then one update in a day I'm going to take a little longer with the next chapters so I can give you multiple chapters. Let me know if you guys are okay with that. I'm sorry if this chapter was a little rushed I'm going to go back over the book soon and edit some stuff so just bare with me.
