"Listen up bitch", Tyler started, "Put down that draw four you have and you will regret it-"
Grayson slammed down the draw four.
"YEET-"
Tyler screamed.
Antony quietly cried, holding twenty four cards.
Ravan was the only one with a poker face, and maybe three cards left.
Jett and Oliver were laughing.
"You have very rowdy friends", Tokoyami quietly said to Kitsune, cringing away from Tyler's yelling.
"Only during UNO."
Tokoyami sat in a corner with Kitsune next to him.
Kitsune pulled a medication bottle out of her bag and a bottle of water. She quickly downed a pill before putting the items back in.
He eyed her.
"What is that for, If I may ask?"
"Mood stabilizers."
She needed mood stabilizers? She didn't seem like the type to have mood swings.
He looked out of the treehouse window. It was dusk.
"I need to get heading home", Tokoyami said, "It's getting dark."
"Here", Kitsune said, opening the hatch, "I'll walk you home. I need to be heading home myself."
He followed her down the ladder.
Tokoyami anxiously glanced at the darkening sky.
"I don't know if we'll make it-"
He froze in shock.
Kitsune was radiating a yellow light from her body.
She looked like a star.
"I don't think I've ever shown you my quirk, have I?", she said cheekily.
Tokoyami was speechless.
"Here", she took his hand, "You don't like the dark, right? I'll light the way."
"Thank you...", he whispered.
Her hand. It was so small in his and so warm.
She shone like a star as she lead him home.

He didn't know anymore.

Tyler threw down his cards in frustration.
Standing up, he paced over to the other side of the tree house.
Kitsune wasn't there.
But her bag was.
It was open, and the contents were spilling out.
Mood stabilizers.
He made sure nobody was looking before he snatched them and put them in his pocket.
This was how he was going to get rid of Kitsune.
How he was going to keep Ravan.
