Oh look, aNoThEr ChApTeR!!
Honestly, I didn't even expect that I'd write more than 3 chapters, because, well, it's mE.
But hey, 6 chapters in (not including the prologue) & I'm still going!!
My friend has demanded some Ninja action, so I attempted to write Ninja action??!!IMPORTANT!!
Okay, so maybe not that important, but in case your confused about how the school year is seperated;
There are 4 terms during the year, 2 weeks holiday between each term & 6 weeks holiday between the end of one school year & the start of another. Each term is roughly 3 months (11 weeks) & exams are at the end of terms 2 & 4, (exams are split in 2 because the exams at the end of term 2 covers all the things students learn in those first 2 terms, & the same goes for terms 3 & 4. But for 2 terms, we put them together & call them a "Semester" just so it's easier to say 'Semester 1 exams' & shit (terms 1 & 2 being Semester 1 & terms 3& 4 being Semester 2)
Also!! Each day has 6 periods (periods 1 & 2, then recess, then periods 3 & 4, then lunch, & then periods 5 & 6)CoNfUsInG aF, hUh? Welcome to how my Country runs shit.
The school term went by fast. Too fast. We were in the midst of week ten, and we only had next week left until school holidays, which I was immensely excited for because ew, school.
It was Thursday, right after period four, and I was walking down the hall with Cole and Kai on our way to lunch when Jay strolled over.
"Ugggghhhhhhh!" The chestnut haired boy complained in the typically high-pitched-whiny voice he used when he was about to have his daily winge.
Over the school term, I'd gotten closer to Lloyd and his friends, unfortunately that also meant I had to get used to their antics.
Which I guess wasn't so bad, considering that they also had to deal with me.Haha, suckers.
"Alrighty, hit us with your daily does of complaints. What is it today?" I asked, rolling my eyes as the four of us made our way down the hallways towards the cafateria, earning a snicker from Kai and a smirk from Cole.
"Schooooooolll." Jay drawled as he dragged his feet and hunched his shoulders.
"Of course. But what specifically?"
Jay straightened as we entered the eating area. "Just school in general. I get tired as soon as I step foot into this hellhole. And I never get tired! It's just school. when we leave I'm fine, all my energy comes back, but while I'm here I just want to sleep."
I grinned. "I feel ya, except it doesn't seem like you've lost any energy at all."
Cole pushed Jay's shoulder. "He's ten times worse when you have to deal with him outside of school."
Jay huffed an indignant "hEY!" as we aproached our usual table, the others were already there and looked up at us, alerted by the bikering.
"Hey guys." Lloyd greeted, smiling up at us as we sat down.
I slid into the seat next to him, Cole following as Kai and Jay scuffled a little over who'd sit next to Nya.
"Hiya Greenie." I nodded. I'd given him the nickname after a couple weeks when I realized that literally all he wore was green shirts, hoodies and jumpers. He seemed to eagerly accept the name I'd chosen for him, as every time I called him 'Greenie' he'd smile.
It also always made my stomach swirl, and making Lloyd smile became a daily goal for me. Seeing him happy made me happy and I didn't even know why.
