First off, whaAAAAAAT?? THE?? FRICKETTY FRICK FRACK FUCK???
Also, merry Chrimbas
We baked, and baked, and baked, until we had about seventeen batches of cookies and brownies combined, plus a few cakes. Most of the cookies were burnt, but we made some lemon, as well as traditional chocolate and white chocolate brownies, and those were hella good.
Cole had improved. He wasn't the best baker, but he could now bake edible cookies, brownies and even the odd cake.
Why he didn't just buy chocolates, like every other guy, for this girl, was beyond me.
But hey, I wasn't going to complain, free junk food.
We sat on the floor, leaning against the benches facing each other and eating some of our spoils.
"Y'know," I cut through the silence with a mouthful of lemon brownie, "I think she might like you back after you give her some of these."
Cole looked up from his plate of cake, one cheek clearly full of the vanilla treat. "Hm? Reawy?" He asked, excited even though his full mouth muffled his words.
I nodded, swallowing my brownie. "Most guys buy chocolates, you're giving her baked goods. Home made baked good. Pretty origional."
He smirked, finishing off his peice of cake. We lapsed into silence once more before he spoke again.
"Do you... How do you think she'd react to the whole... Y'know, Ninja thing...?" He asked slowly.
I tilted my head, frowning at him.
He quickly continued, "I-I mean, obviously I wouldn't tell her straight away! It's just... If we ended up together, I'd have to tell her sooner or later..."
My gaze softened while I looked at him, finishing my cookie before I answered. "Well, by the time you tell her, she'd probably already confessed love, so if she loved you, she'd get over it pretty quickly."
He grumbled uncertainly, smiling at the thought of her loving him.
"Look," I sighed, "don't worry about it too much, Cole. It'll come to you when you need it to. You'll be able to handle it."
He nodded slowly.

The next day I was stood at the stop, waiting for the bus to pick me up. I listened to the rain patter on the tin roof of the bus stop shelter.
I inhaled the scent of the dampened Earth, smiling when it reminded me of a certain blonde boy. I looked around, smiling to myself as I took in my surroundings. The green trees across the road, through that greenery, after school I'd usually hear children playing in the park on the other side of the tall trees. I watched as few cars drive past, as people hurried down the sidewalk to get away from the cold, a dog barked somewhere in the distance.
I was so lost in my own world that I didn't notice the bus pull up until the driver tooted the horn at me causing me to jump in surpirsed. I sheepishly smiled at him as I got on and paid.
He gave me an amused grin before handing me my change.
I waddled down the bus, spotting my friends. Nya and Jay waved at me, sitting in their usual spots in front of Lloyd, who I seating myself next to.
