《Chapter 8》

My weird came out while I wrote this, so... Prepare yourself??

The first obvious difference that I had noticed was that my head hurt. Quite a bit, actually.

I groan, scrunching my already closed eyes and rubbing my temple.

Then I noticed I was sort of lying down.

In someone's arms.

Oh, that's new.

...

WaIt!!

"Afternoon, sleepy head." Commented a male voice.

Suddenly all of the memories of what had happened before I passed out came back to me. Seeing the Ninja on their dragons, being dragged into the dense trees of the forest, the creep, fainting on the Green Ninja...

My eyes shot open, and I found myself staring into the masked face of the Fire Ninja.

Somehow my eyes managed to widen more, as amusement danced in his amber eyes.

My jaw dropped. I noticed the unusually strong wind, mainly because my hair was flying into my line of sight.

I looked around. Clouds. Blue sky. Red dragon head.

Red dragon head?

I looked down to find I was sitting on the saddle sideways in front of the Fire Ninja as his strong arm wrapped around my shoulders.

I stared, turning back to look at him, eyes widening only more.

He chuckled.

I know that chuckle.

"Are you okay? You look a little concerned."

That voice. That scar through his eyebrow...

I stared at him, not saying a word as my brain tried to remember who he may be.

Then it hit me. A face crossed my mind, and I couldn't help but think that, he had the same laugh, same scar, same eyes, same voice, as the Ninja in front of me.

"Kai?" I breathed, mostly to myself.

"You're gonna have to speak up if you want me hear you." He said, leaning closer.

I realized that, yes it is Kai. So, me being, well, me, panicked.

I shrieked, flailing as I jerked back and over the side of his dragon in surprised confusion, eyes wide. He gasped, desperately trying to grab one of my flailing arms.

But he didn't reach me in time, and I found myself falling through the air, my adrenaline levels suddenly spiked, and I felt the trickle of fear creep down my spine.

Actually, the explosion of fear through my whole body.

I yelled out in terror, but I didn't fall far before I was caught by another pair of arms. By then I had clenched my eyes closed again and bagan shaking. A hand rubbed my back a couple of times before whoever was holding me spoke.

"You're okay, please try to calm down, it'll be a lot easier if you don't keep throwing yourself off our dragons."

That voice.

I opened my eyes to be met by green orbs staring back at me. Those calm, beautiful, wise green eyes. The Green Ninja.

With the thought that Kai might be the Fire Ninja, I also ran through my mind who of the others might have green eyes.
