3RD person POV: Lloyd

The rain had subsided, and everyone had decided to go out to eat at Skylor's Noodle shop.

Lloyd had made the mistake of mentioning that he wasn't hungry.

"Excellent!" His mother had said, "You can stay and baby sit."

She had pointed to Y/N, who had fallen asleep next to his bean bag. He'd told his mum about the girl's nightmares after he'd found out, in hopes of her actually knowing what to do. Let's just say that her suggestions weren't very helpful.

So now, Lloyd was stuck in the monestry, on a gloomy day, with no one to entertain hum, because Misako had insisted on letting Y/N sleep as much as possible.

"Maybe if she sleeps during the day, she won't have nightmares." She had told him.

So, that's how he ended up leaning against the side of Y/N's bed, reading the Batman comics she had finished earlier that day, waiting for the girl to wake up.

He didn't find it all that boring, sometimes he listened to the rain, which was on and off, or watch the droplets race down the window above her bed. He also watched Y/N sleep for a while, which he swears is not creepy at all. She was just so... He didn't even know, Lloyd just really liked to look at her.

He was about half way through the third comic when Y/N suddenly moved, scaring the living shit out of him.

She violently tossed over, curling in on herself like she was in immense pain, shivering and whimpering. She clutched at the blankets, stuffing them as closely as she could to her stomach as if trying to stop a bleeding wound. "No," she whimpered, tears now pouring down her sweaty face. "No... No."

Something pulled at Lloyd's heart, he hated seeing her cry. "Y/N?" He reached for her hand, but ended up hesitating.

Is this like sleepwalking? If I wake her up, will she have a heart attack and die? Oh God...

As he was panicking, she shuddered, groaning in pain and turned over, facing her back to him.

"Y/N?" He asked again, but she didn't respond.

Instead, she wimpered again. "No," Her shirt was sticking to her back with the amount of sweat she'd already produced in her sleeping, anxious state. "Hhhh-help... Me..." She wheezed, sounding out of breath.

Lloyd suddenly realised what was happening, and his stomach dropped. She's having a nightmare! What do I do?!

As if she'd just been set on fire, Y/N screamed at the top of her lungs, curling into herself even more before hurrridly launching herself sideways across the bed towards him.

Hr grabbed her as soon as she came into range, wrapping his arms around her failing arms and torso as she kicked her legs and writhed, breathing heavily in obvious fear. "Y/N, it's okay, wake up!" Lloyd did his best to desperately sooth her as she shook violently in hid hold, but she wouldn't wake up.

"Lloyd," she suddenly squeaked, and he perked up, poking his head over her shoulder to see if she was awake. She wasn't. "Lloy-yd... help me." She breathed, eyebrows furrowed and tears flowing.

"I can't," he whined, holding her tighter. It frustrated him more than anything else to see her so upset and know that he couldn't do anything to help her. "I really wish I could, Y/N, but I can't. I'm so sorry."

She shuddered again, curling forward, arching her back into his chest as she let out a noise of pure pain. "Please wake up, Y/N." He begged, pressing his head into her spine, trying to stop her from wriggling away. She was still on the bed and Lloyd was still on the floor, so his body acted as some sort of anchor to lever him down. "I hate seeing you like this... Please wake up..."
