I froze in my place as Lloyd leaned over me. The first thing that I did when I realised what was going on, was panic. I'd never kissed anyone before! Up until now, I'd assumed kissing was just his lips on mine, but his mouth was... moving? I didn't know what to do! I could feel he was stiff, uncertain and uneasy. Probably put off by my hesitance. I didn't want him to stop, I'd wanted to kiss him for such a long time now, I just didn't know what I was doing. His hand was on my ribcage, my back pressed against my seat as he lay me down and leaned over me.
I could feel him start to pull away from me. Instinctively, I wrapped my arms around his neck and pulled him closer, trying my best to copy his lip movements. I felt him sigh and relax in my hold, smirking against my lips.
Okay, so I'm doing something right.
He pulled away, burying his face in the crook of my neck. "I really like you..." He sighed, his breath tickling my skin as he cuddled into me as much as he could from our awkward possition. "Like, a lot."
I giggled, shyly playing with his hair. I could feel my whole body heating up with giddy embarrassment. Or was it excitement? "I really like you a lot too."
We stayed like that for a few minutes, just hugging and enjoying the moment. Until I realised, oh crap, Lloyd has a stab wound and him stretching over the concole like this isn't good for that.
"We better get going." I hummed hesitantly.
He groaned, pulling away to gaze at me, not yet returning to his seat nor retreating his arms from around my waist. "Do we have to? Like, is the world going to end if I don't go home?"
I laughed, placing a quick kiss on his lips that he tried to continue when I pulled away. "No, but I'm sure at some point it will if the Green Ninja goes missing tonight."
He groaned again, pouting. "Then I don't wanna be the Green Ninja anymore."
"Too bad, fate and all that has decided your doom- I mean destiny." I mocked playfully.
"Fate can suck my ass." He commented.
"Not right now." I placed my hands on his shoulders and pushed him back onto his side of the car. "Right now, I need to get you home."
He sighed, watching me grumpily as I put my seatbelt back on. "Go out with me." He demanded.
I paused, one hand on the steering wheel and the other on the key in the ignition as I looked over at him. "That depends, are you going to cooperate and go home like a good little Greenbean?"
He frowned. "I'm not a kid, Y/N. I'm eighteen. I'm actually older than you."
"Really?" I exlaimed, gasping in mock surprise. "I thought you were two!"
"Hardy har," Lloyd rolled his eyes at me, buckling in as I started the car. "So funny."
"Like I said earlier, I'm hilarious."
"Like I said earlier, go out with me." He's determined, that's for sure.
I sighed dramatically, earning an amused look from Lloyd. I pulled back out onto the road.
"So? What's your answer?" He prompted.
I chuckled. "Lloyd, do I really seem like the type of girl to kiss someone if I wasn't interested?"
"No, of corse not." He said, shaking his head.
I smiled. "Then I think you already know the answer to your question."
💚
I pulled up outside the monestry and Lloyd got out of the car. He came over to my side so he could hug me goodbye, and I couldn't help but feel pretty sad when I watched him walk towards the front doors of his home. He turned around, smiling and gave me a wave before disappearing inside and closing the door.
