Lloyd didn't tell them. He didn't tell anyone. I didn't either. Every time we opened our mouths to enlighten them, no words came out, and we just ended up opening and closing our mouths like water-deprived fish.

It was frustrating, not being able to tell anyone, but I guess it wasn't really too much of a bad thing.

It gave us time to actually think about what was going on. I mean, we had only confessed our feelings to eachother the week before. We hadn't discussed what we were doing. Were we dating or not? So, no, it wasn't necessarily a bad thing that we couldn't verbally tell our friends, because apparently, we couldn't tell ourselves either.

School dragged on painfully slow, and by the end of the day we staggered out of the doors of literal prison, tired and a little grumpy.

"I'm hungryyyyyyyy," I complained, dragging my feet.

Cole snorted at me as he jogged down the stairs.

"Shall we go get something to eat?" Zane inquired, tilting his head.

Kai perked up, instantly looking less fatiqued. "Can we go to Skylor's?" He asked excitedly.

I nodded in agreement. "Skylor's is the besssttt."

"So long as you aren't all sucky face with her while I'm trying to eat." Lloyd jested, raising an eyebrow as he elbowed the Fire Ninja in the ribs.

Kai stumbled over his feet, spluttering. "What? No- I- that- what?!"

We laughed as he regained his balance, turning the shade of a fire engine.

With our bags slung over our shoulders, we walked down the street towards the resturaunt that we frequently visited over the year that had basically flown by. The year was already almost over already, it seemed like only a couple of days ago, I had met Lloyd on that bus ride.

We reached the resturaunt, walking in and taking our seats at our regular table.

We watched in amusement as Kai raced across the shop to catch Skylor in an embrace. She laughed, squealing as he picked her up and spun her around. Everyone in the resturaunt turned to look at the young couple making the ruckus.

The two made there way over to our table hand-in-hand. Kai rubbed the back of his neck sheepishly, the attractive colour red taking over their faces.

Skylor took our orders, and Kai took his usual seat next to Zane as he watched her go, a small smile gracing his lips.

"Awwh," Cole coed mockingly, "the two of you are just so cute!"

"Shut up!" An embarrassed Kai threw his fork across the table at the ebony-haired boy, who in return caught the utensil like it was nothing. Just as you do I suppose.

We laughed, mocking Kai as his face turned even more beat red. Soon, Nya and Jay also copped some playful banter when they were caught holding hands on the table top.

Our food arrived and Skylor joined us, sitting close to Kai. We discussed what we planned to do on the upcoming school holidays. The Ninja were going to go training, and I pouted, complaining at the fact that they hadn't told me sooner. I threw myself on the nearest Ninja - Lloyd - crushing him in a hug and fake wailing about being betrayed by my own babies.

"Y/N, get off me!" He complained, laughing.

The others watched in amusement, until I did the same to Nya.

"I am fairly certain that we are all older then you, Y/N." Zane pointed out.

I paused, looking over at him seriously. "You're still my babies and I have still been betrayed. What am I supposed to do on the holidays now? I thought we were gonna hang out!"

Jay cocked an eyebrw at me, smirking. "Get a job, lazy."

"I tried," I huffed, returning to my seat. "No one wants to hire me."

Skylor shrugged, puffing a cheek. "I'd hire you."

"Really?!" I exclaimed with wide eyes.

She nodded smiling at me, "So long as you do the job properly."

"IwillIpromisepleasehireme!"

We all laughed and continued to eat together, and as I looked around at the faces of my happy friends, I realized something.

These people, sitting in front of me, laughing and smiling, enjoying each other's company, these were the people that I could truely trust, the people that I truely cared for and would give anything to keep those smiles on their faces.

I hadn't noticed just how important they had become to me, just how much they had grown on me.

I felt guilty.

They had all entrusted me with their secret identities and their biggest secret - that they were the Ninja - and what had I ever done to deserve that trust? I hadn't told any of them about my wind powers, so what right did I have to know about theirs?

Lloyd slipped his hand onto my leg, dragging me out of my thoughts. I looked up at him, surprised that I'd drifted off.

"You okay?" He asked, concern dancing in his green eyes.

I nodded, giving him a smile. "Never better." I turned to adress the rest of my friends seated at the table. "But... I think it's time I told you guys something..."

They stopped, heads tilted in confusion, eyebrows furrowed, and lips slightly turned down in conrcern at my tone of voice.

"What is it?" Cole asked.

I shook my head. "Not here, I think everybody should be present when I tell you all this. It's something I've been keeping to myself since... Well, since I first found out about you guys being, well, y'know."

They all nodded still confused.

"When do you want to talk about it?" Asked Zane.

I shrugged, "Tomorrow?"
