Once I have came in contact with Uncle Ben the first thing I did is have him around my arms. I found him. He's safe. He's fine. He's not hurt. His scent enters my nose again and I'm so relieved. Nothing mattered to me at this moment but Uncle Ben's well being that interested me. To be honest I really don't know where I have left my weapon at. I think I have dropped it somewhere.
"Norman. No. What are you doing here? I told you aren't supposed to play. You can get seriously hurt? Why are you playing?" Uncle Ben speaks but to be a grown up and my friends come over to me to see our opponents. Uncle Ben's teammates.
"Uncle Ben someone is going after you. Gordon sent out people to hurt you so I had to enter to warn you. I've been looking for you" I say and I can begin to hear others coming and my friends ready themselves.
"I can handle it myself Norman. Just please take off that armor and leave the arena because you're not allowed to be in here" Uncle Ben says strictly to me. Then several voices that come from into the woods is heard. They sounded like more than a dozen. If Uncle Ben wants me to leave, where am I supposed to leave?
"No way turning back now" I hear one of Uncle Ben's teammate say and Uncle Ben gives him a death stare. Uncle Ben scratches the back of his head and he seems ticked off.
"Stand behind me and don't leave my site no matter what" He says and my bow gets handed to me which seems to piss off Uncle Ben more.
The noise behind those trees get closer and closer and by the sound of the leaves crunching they must be running toward us with a larger amount than what we have. Everyone waits for the moment they burst in here and my hand trembles crazily urging for a good arrow to be shot at.
Silence.
The infected campers storm through the scenery and begin attacking for what seems the only five survivors left. Uncle Ben pushes me back and goes off to fight with my friends who seem to be needing the assistance to continue the fight. Uncle Ben goes in betraying his team when he uses his axe on them.
Everyone is fighting and I'm left out with no one to be with but they needed my help with all these campers. They need my arrows. They need what I have.
I grab an arrow from sheath and aim it directly at an infected camper who is on Dean and then let go. I shoot arrow by arrow at various campers and help out as much I can. I hear yelling come from Margaret where she gets dragged into the water. I quickly react and shoot an arrow flying directly into the foot of an infected who falls into the water. From the left side of my eye another infected running my way and Uncle Ben grabs him launches him off my personal space then his eyes go to mine and goes back to fighting.
I know, I'm sorry, I didn't meant to play I just wanted to protect you. I get back to shooting and by the looks of it we need more people on our side.
I see as Uncle Ben falls on the ground with a very pissed off infected camper from his decision. He struggles with him and I run over and knock him off Uncle Ben where he collapses on the bridge railing falling down into the water. Uncle Ben looks at me again and continues to go fighting.
I shoot my arrows to who gets closer to me and to who try taking my friends. They're a lot coming and they don't stop, it is too much. I see as Margaret gets a bunch on her and I'm about to go for her assistance but Dean takes some of them off of her and they both brawl to get them out as Jacob and Bones have their own battles to fight. I take an arrow and ready my bow to shoot at the ambushed ones but an infected knocks my bow out of my hand and all I have is my fists but luckily Uncle Ben hauls him away from me.
I run to the others but they are no longer there but being dragged away. Dean and Margaret are out of the game. I try getting them back but the blue light on their armor must've have powered off. One leaps to me and I duck. Another one grabs my forearm and wants to push me in the water. I turn us around and I elbow him off. From the distance I'm able see more coming and I run back to where we all come together.
"There are so many. We can't take them all" Bones says and we step back clenching our weapons and I grab my bow from the water where it had lied.
"We need to run from here" Uncle Ben's teammate says and he's right we can't be here too long or we won't make it to the last round. I have very less arrows now and they are not enough for all of these campers.
"Ben go! Take the kids with you and run far from here" All of Uncle Ben's friends agree on this plan and they go up front buying us time to run away.
"Norman get on my back and don't let go" Uncle Ben says and kneels to the floor and I hop on, holding on tightly to Uncle Ben. This is it. Is what one of the guys staying behind says and I think to myself. Is this it? Is this really it.
It is dead silent and we know the others are just staring at us till we make our move. My heart races and my eyes are shut for this part. I don't think I'll make it this far before passing out. All I have right now will be my ears that will hear it all. I'm not ready.
Oh please dear medallions help me.
"Go!" I hear loudly and we were off and it all began again.
