My eyes open widely and I'm in a room where the lights have dimmed down. I lay in a bed with a blanket covering me and needles injected in my skin. The door is open and some light shines down the doorway. I attempt to get up but the pain in my head prevents me from getting up. I wince at the pain and I see Uncle Ben asleep on the chair across the room. He's in a deep sleep. I feel like a such bad nephew for putting him through this. This is probably hurting him more than me.
I look beside me and there's colorful flowers in a vase next to me. They are meadow flowers. These are nice flowers but rare to find and hard to keep healthy. I gain much anxious with myself and I don't tolerate being like this. I wanted to move I had so many things to make sure we're okay. I need to find Bones and Jacob.
What time is? What had happened? Why were there explosions? Where's Gordon?! All I remember was getting thrown by Erik and my head hitting a log and drifting off and that's all but everything else is just clueless to me. I want to yell but my throat begins to swell up.
I make a noise and Uncle Ben hears it waking up from his sleep. He makes his way over and I try moving out of here but I get cooed by Uncle Ben to stay lying down. He moves over to sit beside me and throws his arm over.
"Hey buddy" Uncle Ben smiles at my awakening but something seems wrong with him. I can sense it.
"What time is it?" I ask him as he pulls the covers closer to me because I begin to shiver.
"It's late, everyone is asleep" He says and my uncle's body heat begins to warm me up.
"Where's Bones?" I ask.
"He's over there" He points over to the bed next to me where lays a very injured Bones with bruises and wounds and most important finally breathing on a bed. I try moving again but the pain in my head returns. I place my hand on my head and wince once I came in contact.
"What happened?" I say as I look down at my medallions I now have on me.
"You hit your head on a log while explosions were going off and the guy that is always with Dr. Meredith had found you" Uncle Ben struggles from how difficult it is to spill it. Something in his voice seems pretty sad but angry at the same time.
"Don't you ever do that to me again Norman. Your life was at risk with you being in that place, you could've been dead" He tells me with this type of unbearable feeling.
"I'm sorry..."
"Go back to bed" He whispers and I do. I can feel my eyelids get heavy and I don't resist but follow the movement of them till I finally have fallen asleep.
One cool night is mine.
The next day I wake up but from the noise of the door shutting. I look around to see who it is and it's Jacob who had entered. He seems pretty damaged but not really hurt. I don't know if he wants to talk to me. I am the reason why his friend is in a coma. I'm the reason he almost died too. I attempt getting up but my back aches and I feel pain.
"Hey Norman, take it easy" Jacob comes over laying a hand on me.
"Where's Uncle Ben?" I ask him.
"He's not here. He's out showering. He'll be back" He says and I look around the room, killing time until my eyes go to the bruise on Jacob's cheek. After that I earn a pang in my chest. Another thing I have caused.
"Jacob, how long was I out?"
"Five days" Says Jacob and I can't believe it. How can I be out for five days? It only felt like one night.
"What happened when I was out?" I ask curiously.
"When the explosions finally stopped, there was squads of people who was out trying to find you. You were there top priority and nobody stopped till you were found. Dr. Meredith didn't seem to give up that night. Your uncle was left completely devastated from what happened, like if everything came crashing down. You completely scared the shit out of him....."
"It was all a set up. The games, they were all a setup Norman. There was explosives underground ready to blow when the games were going. Everyone in this camp believes Gordon had something to do with it. More campers are dead than before including Erik, he was found dead three days ago. Also the main field is destroyed and prohibited to be entered by anyone. Things aren't the same anymore Norman. Things have gotten way worse. Everything now is on lockdown and things are very strict now. There's now guardians everywhere securing the place and also, once they have found the person who caused this destruction they will be exiled or sentenced to death. This place is a nightmare"
