We run into a building and hear another noise irrupt behind us. The building we are in is a bar that contains no light but several bottles of hardening liquor still on the shelves. Surprisingly not broken. There's no light out anymore I know we should've found a safer place to sleep. The noise gets louder and closer to us. Uncle Ben takes my hand and we rush into the kitchen behind the bar. I'm trembling and Uncle Ben sits me down behind a table.
"Hey, we are gonna be okay, don't worry. Don't cry" He tries to reassure me but how can I handle such thing like this. It is impossible.
The door from the kitchen opens making this crackling noise and Uncle Ben lays back like I do as we both currently hide from what's on the other side. Our hands clutch our weapons with mighty a grip if it was our savior. I hear silent sniffing around and I try not making any type of noise when I'm back here. Suddenly pots and pans fall onto the floor growing so much tension around making this utter feeling unbearable. Uncle Ben signals me to move but I can't. I'm frozen in the position I'm in. In my head I begin to go against myself. I then pull myself together and begin to crawl quietly behind a stove not seeing no light around to guide me.
I'm afraid, I thought I'm in another nightmare but I knew it isn't. There is something here with us. It isn't human either because of how it makes these earful terrible noises. I wanted it to pass already but it took its time and did what it wanted.
Behind me I hear these odd footsteps making its way over to me, each step echoing in the ground, every step that brings me fear like never before. I shut my eyes beyond terrified right now. Right behind me something is moving and I'm wanting it to flee but my life is on the line so it took its time. It stops right where I am. I stop breathing for a minute to draw it away. It takes a whip at the air catching something and then moves away from me. I wipe the sweat from my forehead then hearing barking come from outside and my heart crushes into pieces. I know that's Roxy. My lip begins to quiver and the thing that drew away quicker than anything.
Uncle Ben comes over and coos me and he brought me up quickly going straight for the door but to reveal something completely different on the other side. My colors drain to my feet. I felt utterly sick. That is not like us. This thing is no human being but a soulless creature. The skin of something rare, slits to dignify his nose, the two long legs, four very sharp fingers, and gritting teeth that make me afraidly weak. Such thing that stands with both arms by its side staring wide open with those eyes into my core disturbingly. It sent a mighty roar and lunged itself to us. I forcefully push it back from me and run away quickly as it makes horrible movements toward us.I go through the other door that leads to the pool tables and there is another one there that turns his arched back around to notice us. It only looked at us. Those eyes that just looked at us and only us seeming like its never ending. We make a run from it and the other one from the kitchen bursts through the wall dropping alcohol on the floor and shatters. It leaps towards us and Uncle Ben launches his axe and it inserts through its chest. The other one moves towards us and Uncle Ben uses his rifle and shoots the thing causing it to create this noise that echoes making it noticeable to hear from miles away.
We hear calls from the creatures and we know they are coming. This isn't good. We hear more rapid movement entering the building insanely and we run quickly out the two story bar and out in the open where the only light we have is the moonlight. We push something in front of the door to hold them and we run across the street to a random building. Uncle Ben kicks the glass in and we enter the lobby of another hotel but much bigger that has luggage everywhere filled with clothing scattered all over the floor.
We run to the right where the stairs are since the elevator is out completely. We burst through the door, running up the stairs in a hurry as we felt if more were behind us. I suddenly stop and look at the rest of the stairs blown up. We only made it up to third floor of the building. Once we have entered Uncle Ben moves a cabinet to the door.
