No one is fully complete. We all are incomplete and we know it but we just choose to believe we are full. It's what we all do. Everyone has their own way on to be completed. To me I think I need to know more to be completed. I just don't know much about it all. Who I really am? I always thought I'm just a boy with a uncle and a beating heart but I guess to some people I'm more than that. I'm valuable to the human race but what I think of it is truly all false. I am no immunity. I'm similar like other humans out there dying to know the truths. I just have one on me.
Why such hard punishment should be delivered to us?
By the looks of the man in the old cabin we encountered he seemed pretty twisted with all this pain stored in him. It isn't healthy but deadly. So much despair in a person can kill the human life. I didn't want that to happen to me.
I'm tired of moving all the time. I didn't want to move anymore. I just wanted to lay down and stay here. I stand still as Uncle Ben kept on moving.
"Come on" He says and I grab my canteen from my pack and open it, drinking the freshening liquid. I meet with him again and we both move closer to wherever we're going. So far all the walking has been annoying me lately but the good thing about it is being around nature.
"Uncle Ben?" I call.
"Yeah bud?" He says splashing the cool pond water in his face.
"What was the guy saying about our world?"
"Nothing, that was all fake" He dries his hands on his pants.
"Is it really fake? He did kinda sound truthful and convincing"
"Norman buddy, trust me on it and if it makes you feel better I'll protect you from whatever"
"Okay" I say and we keep on moving till our next break that doesn't seem to be long because I get tired quickly. He knows that.
I know that.
I refill my canteen in the lake that is close to us and the sun shines brightly at it. It felt peaceful here. It felt like hug from Mother Nature herself. All this was perfectly nice. I drift into the forest around me. All those tainted leaves, the alive colored flowers and the melodies of the birds chirping. I just notice I haven't heard the birds chirp in a while until now. Let them sing their hopes to us. I say and I think I had too much of nature since Uncle Ben caught me from falling into the lake.
"Careful there buddy" He smiles and I look back at the nature catching what seems to look like a figure in black on the other side of the lake. I take one more look over to see if I did see this but this time nothing stood on the other side so I returned to Uncle Ben who waits for me on a log.
We kept on moving and the entire time in my mind all I could think of is what I saw is really real. It replayed in my mind constantly. Every time I would imagine it, I would get shivers. Now I'm worried about any little noise was made around the forest.
"Why are you so quiet?" Uncle Ben asks me. I guess he's been noticing me how I am. I just shrug at him.
"I don't know, I just am" I say as my legs crush the leaves on the ground.
"I know you are, just not around me" He states and he's right I'm never so quiet around Uncle Ben. I would talk to him about anything that I can think of but what I have been through lately is way too much to handle. I'm tired of all these secrets and false answers. I want to say something to Uncle Ben but I couldn't. I can't.
"I'm probably just tired" I simply say and kept on moving to wherever we are heading.
I wanted to know so much about this world but no one would give me anything. Just more warnings and some other pointless info. I craved for some answers. I desperately wanted to know how it all started and how I'm this cure to Dr. Meredith. What's outside in the world. So many mysteries. And very little answers.
I wanted to know the truths now.
We kept on moving until nightfall had arrived and we fell asleep in a cave where we weren't disturbed but a little bit spooked. I fell asleep thinking on who will save the world? Who will help us from this moving tragedy?
And what will occur on the morrow?
