Chapter 64

My breathing is uncontrollable and from behind me I feel a hand go on my back, that's when I react quickly. I remember what the archer told me outside. I need to watch my back from them. They cannot be trusted. I have my knife so close to the throat of Colin who looks at me completely flustered. I look at him directly in the eyes gripping my knife and my bravery as well.

"Who'd you kill?" I say to him.

"What do you mean?" He says confused.

"I saw that bat you have. It's filled with blood"

"It's not what you think it is"

"Oh really then what is it?" I tell him but I get hauled back with some force and falling on my back. I feel pain in me but mostly the adrenaline rushing to whom I'm going to have fight back to. I look up and it's Lily herself who comes over and is about to stomp her foot on me when I move. She kicks my stomach hard and I groan. I open my eyes again to see that she gets out of Colin's clutch and begins running madly at me. She leaps to me but she meets the bottom of my shoe.

She spits out blood onto the floor and I spot my knife that isn't so far from me. I run for it but Lily leaps on me and her boot stomps on my hand and I yelp loudly. I elbow her off but she kept on going not wanting to quit. It's until Cruz gets comes in taking her off me.

"What the heck is your problem?" I say pretty pissed off. Why is she wanting to have a fight with me?

"Lily lay off. Leave him alone" Cruz says and immediately she takes a swing at his face not stopping but that ticked me off so I got to her knocking her away but she kept going. This girl could not stop. She's one pretty dangerous fighter. Luckily the fight stopped when Henry got here with the others pulling Lily apart from here.

"What's going on here?" He says loud and clear making the entire room noise die down.

"This little shit had a knife to Colin's throat" She says and I receive a look from Henry.

"He was in shock" Colin covers me also saving me from getting in trouble. I look at him and he nods. Why is he doing that?

"He was gonna kill you" She claims to him getting annoyed and having some rage in her that is about to burst. Henry's never believed it which made her grow some rage.

"Like I said he just reacted and you saw wrong" Colin tells her and I look over at Cruz who is bleeding from his nose. Lilly's hit hurt him pretty bad.

"Fine. I'm done with this shit" She storms out till she reaches me and takes a good look at me from right behind Dan. So much hatred in her eyes. She sends daggers just by looking at me with those killer eyes of hers. Those fists that are clenched and want to go around me and her ego that wants to destroy mine.

"You think you're so special well you're not! You'll end up just like Teddy" She says loudly and I shut my eyes for this one. I don't want to hear it. I don't want to hear anymore death threats. I have way too much of those and there's no more room. Lily finally leaves from here and I'm actually able to breathe normally also lose my adrenaline because there's not much use to it.

I sit on one of the chairs with Cruz who is just standing with arms crossed in front of the papered bed I'm always sitting on. I feel completely bad that he had taken hits from Lily just help me. I should be the one getting the hits not him. Apparently his nose isn't broken but won't stop bleeding. Dr. Chris said that it will feel normal tomorrow, that there is no damage done to his nose but that doesn't make me feel better. I thought if I accompany him through it, it would help but not really.

"I'm sorry for your nose" I tell Cruz as I hold my hands together.

"You already told me like a bunch of times. It's fine it'll be better tomorrow, you heard what Chris said so don't worry about it"
