Today is Friday and it's morning. It's still raining out from these past few days but I didn't mind the rain because when it's time to open the window it would smell like precious nature and I enjoy it. From the bed I'm looking out the window, it is raining hard and it made me question, will there be any lightening tonight? I really hope not. I would get woken up by it and it made me feel so hot.
The door opens widely and then comes in Dr. Meredith and Uncle Ben but no Harry. Where did he go? Why isn't he here?
"Good Morning buddy" Uncle Ben walks over to me kissing my head and goes to bring a chair to sit next to me.
"Norman, how you feeling?" Asks Dr. Meredith as she stands next to the bed.
"I'm fine, where's Harry?" I say as I pull my feet closer to me.
"He had to go" She says and I nod at her. Where did he go? Did he leave to the outside?
"Okay" I say as Dr. Meredith takes out two little pills from the container and that's when I know it's time for my medicine. I really don't have a problem with pills but my pet peeve is try to swallow them. It's difficult to me and I need water to wash it down. It's a struggle for me sometimes. I take the pills from her hands and I know getting a glass of water is time consuming so I just threw them in my mouth and swallowed, it's a success. I just didn't want to throw up like when I was a kid. That memory still haunts me. I wish to remove it.
"Wow good job" Dr. Meredith applauds and Uncle Ben pats my back. After that we begin all over my check ups again like we used to. It is when I had to check my ears when I looked over to Bones who is still asleep. I wanted him awake. I am alone and Bones is my friend who I would talk to. Not hearing him isn't the same. I wonder what he's doing in his mind?
"When will Bones wake up?" I ask Dr. Meredith as I look at Bones whose injuries are healing.
"It's up to him, whenever he wants to" She says and I feel myself go down. I need Bones with us. He's my friend.
"Just pray he will make it back" She says and I just look at Bones.
Wake up Bones, you still have much more to be apart of.
Make it back to us.
I blink and look away from Bones cold body continuing the rest my check up just thinking about Bone, when will he wake? Also the memory of him getting beat up by Erik. When I think of that all I can remember seeing the blood go down his face. It was brutal and he sacrificed himself for me. He took the beating and this is him now, lying on a bed in a coma.
"Norman did you hear me?" I turn to Uncle Ben who wants my attention.
"I'm sorry, what did you say?" I say as we are finished with my daily check up for today.
"How did you sleep?" Uncle Ben asks as he takes off his rain jacket placing it on the bed. How did I sleep? Well Gordon came in last night threatening me. Should I tell him about that? I don't think I should.
"I slept fine"
"Good" I thought everything is gonna be all okay with the people who I share laughs with till loud noises is heard outside. It sounds like people yelling. It's very loud and I can hear it from in here. What's going on?
My heart begins to race and then all I knew is that I'm outside in my clothes with Uncle Ben's jacket on, muscling my way through the crowds of campers who are yelling mighty loudly. I then am able to see in the very center of the camp is the grand bonfire that is usually filled with tables for campers to eat on or logs to sit and collect the warmth of the big flame. Now it's filled with multiple guardians blocking the way and two young campers kneeled down with a gun aimed to their heads by two other guardians and behind them both is Gordon who approves it.
