It is a warm spring day in April and Ming and Kit had decided to take a relaxing day trip to their favorite place. This place is about an hour drive away from their apartments and in the quiet woods.

When they had parked Kit's car on the lot outside the edge of the woods they took their food basket, and the other things needed for their day.

About 20 minutes after they left the car they reached their destination. Their hidden tree house.

They spent their entire day in the tree house, just the two of them. And before they realized it, it was starting to get darker outside. As to them not wanting to leave they decided to stay the night there as well.

At this moment they were sitting cuddled up in each others arms, watching the night sky and just hoping that this exact moment would last forever.

"Mingmong... I know I'm not the perfect person who tells you how much I love you and how much you mean to me enough, but I want you to know that, I want this day, this moment with you to last forever. I want to spend my life with you just like this, and I want you to know that only you have my heart... Can you promise me that we can stay like this for a long long time? Because I really don't want to lose you."

"P'KitKat, I can't promise you that we will stay together forever, because I don't know what the future holds for us. But I can promise you that I will always love you. You are the best thing that has ever happened to me and I don't want to lose that. You are my best friend and my lover, and I already know that I want to spend my life with you. Today marks a special day for us as it's our 6 month anniversary together and I'm really sorry that I waited so long to get the courage to do this. I know it's no ring but I want you to have this..."
At this moment Ming took something out of his pocket, it was a bracelet with a gear. (I know I know... it's inspired by the meaning used in SOTUS but can you blame me for doing this... This gear bracelet is a bit different than the one used for Sotus but I think it fits perfectly anyway)

"...I know this doesn't seem like it's much, but I want you to have this, this gear is the symbol of an engineer it represents the engineers heart, our heart is in the gear and the gear is in our hearts. And from this day on I want you to take care of it for me. I wanted to give this to you even before we started dating, because I already knew that you had my heart and I wouldn't want to give it to anyone else."

"Ming, thank you so much for being the best boyfriend for me. I really really like it, both the meaning and the fact that it's you. Thank you for fighting for me even when I was unsure of my feelings for you. I love you my Mingmong."

"I love you too KitKat."

After this little moment Ming tied the bracelet around Kit's wrist and I would be lying if I said Kit didn't spend his time admiring the bracelet and Mings face for most of the remaining of the night.

When they got back to the university the day after Forth noticed the change in the atmosphere around the couple right away and when he saw Mings gear bracelet on Kit's wrist he understood right away why. He admired how his junior had the guts to more or less give in to the handsome doctor and he had his own plans or giving his own gear to the last member of the crazy doctor gang... He just wanted to wait until he was ready to propose to Beam first...

Later the same day Ming and Forths Senior Kongpop had asked them to meet him considering the Head Hazer position for the next year...
"Forth as you know you're going to be a head hazer next year and I want you to take Ming with you and train him for the position as well... Because you are the most fit for the job and I need to know that this job ends up in the right hands, understood? Oh and Ming, congratulations on finally giving him the gear. I'm proud of you."

---- Later the same night----

" P'kit can you come over here for a while? I miss my KitKat."

"Ming, I literally just got home after spending this entire day with you. But I guess, if you drive me to the hospital tomorrow morning..."

"Babe, just come over please...."

"Okay, Okay I'll be there in 15 minutes..."

*Knock knock*

"It's open just come in..."

"Miiiing... Where are you?"

"In the bathroom.. I'll be out in a minute."

As Ming walked into the room he was wearing only a towel around his waist and as Kit saw him there in only a towel, with damp hair and his abs on display, he got a bit of trouble trying not to stare at his handsome boyfriend.

"Ming...?"

"Yeah babe..."

"come here will you, I kind of want you... Right now..."

"Hahhah, am I that handsome?"

"do not joke around with me right now.."

"Okay okay..."

Ming had walked over to his boyfriend and was now standing right in front of Kit. He was actually having problems enough with holding himself back already, and then he placed his hands on Kits face and pulled the older man towards him and kissed him with as much love and passion as he could. He felt Kit smiling into the kiss and that was enough for Ming to lose the last of his control...
