Fay paced around the kings chamber in a state of panic. Alexander had left that morning to go finalise the wedding arrangements for that night. They had spent the night together, but he did nothing but hold her. According to him, it would be more sacred once they were married. She only had a few more hours to go before all hope was lost. She rubbed her hands together and walked about frantically. All she knew was that there was a portal somewhere nereby and that they planned to be there before the wedding. That was it. How they were going to do it, was still unknown. What if Edith did not have everything covered.

It was at that moment that Edith walked into her room. She was escorted by two tall and intimadating gaurds. Fay shrunk before them, but Edith seemed at ease. Edith bowed to her and stepped in.

"I am here to help you dress, your highness," she told her.

Fay was a little taken back by that. No one had ever helped her dress since she was a small child. She wondered what she was up to. Not wanting to make what ever Edith was trying to do more difficult, she simply nodded. Edith turned to the gaurds and looked right up at them.

"I could only imagine that, his highness, the king, would not appreciate it if some other man was to watch his bride get dressed," she said.

The two men gave a simple nod and exited the room, shutting the door behind them. Fay understood now, that Edith was simply trying to get her alone. Fay rushed over to her and caught hold of Edith's hands.

"Oh Edith. What the-"

"I'm sure, princess, that all marble here, would mean your voice would echo alot more than back in the fairy palace. You do not want to disturb the people you are to live with, now do you?" Edith said, staring directly into Fay's eyes, with a stern expression on her face.

Fay understood perectly well that she was implying that they could be heard. Edith rose her hands above her head and began to bring them down slowly, forming a bubble, much like the one she formed back when they spoke in the library.

"I told you, I don't trust demons. Neither should you. Not for one second. I believe they are always listening to us. You must be careful of what you say here," Edith warned.

"Please tell me you have everything prepared?" Begged Fay, as she took hold of Ediths hands once more.

"Don't worry. Everything is under control. I came to make sure you were doing alright. Kae wanted to be here but I knew that wouldn't be wise so they asked ne to send their love," she told Fay.

"Send my love in return," said Fay.

"Of course-" they were cut off by loud scratchy violent screams.

They snapped their heads to look out the window. Gaurds seemed to be dragging one of those animal like demons across the courtyard. The kicked and struggled to break free but it was useless. They stripped him down and tied him to a pole. An other gaurd then came into veiw holding a bullwhip.

"Don't look Princess," Edith hestitaly instructed and Fay turned away.

They was the sudden crack of a whip and more screams of agony.

"On my way hear, I overheard someone was going to be flogged. Apperently they stole bread from the kitchen," Edith told her.

Fay's eyes watered and she trembled with fear. If they did that to someone who stole bread what would they do to her for trying to run off. And what would they do to anyone who helped her. There was a chance Alexander would spair her as he did idealize her so much, but she was certian that the likes of Kae and Edith would be shown no mercy. They could be exicuted. Hearing the tourture just outside her window made it all very real for her. She was indeed very far from the fairy palace.
