Red and I climbed into the car that had been alone on the side of the landing strip for the plane. Dawn was breaking behind the clouds and it was then I realized how utterly exhausted I was.

"When will our bags be here?" I asked as she started the car.

The plane which took us here shot past like a bullet and up into the air. This was a secret landing strip that only vampires knew about.

"Later today. I'll come and collect them and you can get some rest,"

"Aren't you tired?"

"No, I'm use to this," she told me.

Once again the car took off at lightning speed. By now I had become pretty immune to it. The car sped through the tight road in the woods. Eventually wr came to a main road. As it was very early still, there were almost no other cars on the road.

I had never been to Europe before, but I know that Brisons father lived in Spain. We stuck to the motor way so there was not much to see. It was not until we entered the city that I saw what all the fuss was about. The old buildings towered above us and newer high street shops ran down both sides of us. All the cars we're expensive and flashy and everybody was well dressed. You easily spot the tourists with their big cameras huddling together for photos, from the relaxed and easy going natives.

Red did not seem as fascinated by the city as I did, but I imagined that it was not her first time here. She drove down into an underground parking lot, beneath a hotel. When we got out she went to the trunk and took out a suitcase.

"What's that for?" I asked

"Its just an empty suitcase, so we don't look suspicious going in empty handed," she explained.

We both began to walk over to a lift, with Red dragging the suitcase behind her. She pressed the button and we stood waiting for it to bring us up. We entered the large lobby. It was cream marble all over, with white sofas and chairs in the waiting area. A large. Crystal chandelier hung over head and light piano music filled the air.

We strolled over to the receptionist desk and we were greeted by a big smile.

"How may I help you?" Asked the lady.

"Hello. I booked a room yesterday for Eva Collins. Is it ready yet?" She asked with a perfect British accent.

I was a little shocked at how drastic the accent change was. From her smooth and dark natural accent to this cheerful British accent was alarming, but I kept my surprise under wrap so it would not draw any attention.

"Yes it is," She said and reached under the desk and took out a room card.

She handed it to Red, or  "Eva" should I say, who had extended her hand to take it. We said our farewells and were on our way to find our room. We got into an other elevator and Red pressed the buttons. We started moving when I asked,

"Red what are we going to do about your weak hour?"

"I'll just have to be extra careful, but I won't be hiding, we don't have time for that,"

The doors opened and we left. We walked down the hall until Red stopped in front of a door. She opened it with the card key and pushed it in. It truly was beautiful. It had a soft cream carpet and white paint walls. There was a separate sitting area and two double beds. The beds were to our right and the sitting area was to our left and in front of that was a balcony that over looked the busy city below. We dragged in the empty suit case and got settled in.

Red propped the suitcase on the coffee table and began to unzip it. I watched as she pulled out a gun pouch for under your jacket and after that a gun.

"You don't need a gun do you?" I asked, honestly shocked.

"No, it's just for the shock factor when we find dmm. As scary as we are humans are petrified of these things and they're brains shut down quickly," She told me as she fifxed the pouch under her arm and throwing on a jacket.

She then placed the gun in and pulled the jacket around her, so now there was so sign of a gun. She walked around the room, shutting the curtains so that the room was dark.

"You need to get some rest. If anyone knocks ignore it. If anyone breaks in escape through the window and wait in the bathroom in the nearest bar. I'll find you. I doubt it'll come to that, but best to be ready," She said.

"I'm off to get the bags. I'll be back shortly."

With that she left the room and shut the door behind her. I kicked off my shoes and crawled under the covers of one of the double beds. As soon as my head hit the pillow I was out.

Red's prov

I had just collected the bags from the secret landing strip and was on my way back to the city. I kept to a illegally fast speed as I travelled. I had no time to waste. Everything was going according to plan. I knew Elli would need a rest after all that so, it was good to get that out of the way. She needed to be fresh an aware for this. It would only be a disadvantage if she were exhausted.

Soon enough I entered the city and had no choice but to slow down. I turned the car down some little drive way that brought me behind a small restaurant. It was probably for the vans that brought the supplies, but I was going to be using it from now on. I wanted to keep as much as I could on the down low. We'll stay in one spot but keep the car in an other. That way if we're found at the hotel, they won't know where the car is. It would be best if they did not find us, but best to be prepared.

I stopped the car and got out. I took the suitcases from the trunk and made my way in the back door and into the kitchen. A very surprised and outraged man, met me at the door. He must have seen me pull up. He began to scream at me in Italian and luckily I could speak Italian.

"What the hell do you think you're doing. You can't park there. Get out!" He demanded, in his language.

So I responded in his language.

"Who are you?" I asked.

"That manager. Now move your car!" He insisted.

Pulling out my wallet, I took out some money.

"I will give you  €5000 each day you let me keep my car there," I offered.

He was stunned by, my offer for a moment. He was about to argue when I pulled out the €5000 cash from my purse. He froze for a second. I handed it out to him. He took it and shoved it in his pocket. He nodded and stood out of my way. I continued with pulling the two suitcases, out of the kitchen, across the restaurant and out the front door.

I could easily find my way back to the hotel, as I had been to Rome many times before. I avoided the staff as I knew they would be suspicious of the two new bags. I managed to get back to our room unnoticed. It had been several hours since I had left and the day was drawing it end. I thought it would be best to let her get some more sleep and so ordered her some food for when she woke up. She would need to be in best condition for what I had planned.

Ellie's Prov

Hours later, I was woken up with a gentle shove. I opened my eyes to see Red standing over me. I felt much better now that I had rested. All the lights in the room were on. It seemed as though it were dark outside. I could smell food and as I sat up, I saw some pasta on a tray on the table in the sitting area. I got out of bed and made my way over to it. I knew it was not for Red.

"Have you eaten?" I asked.

"I plan on eating later. Eat up quickly and get changed. We have a long night ahead of us," She said.
