It felt as though the portal tunnel went on forever. It was a bright white and there was the strongest pull down, almost as if there was a magnetic force behind it. The fairies fell for the longest time, before finally hitting the cold ground. There was a thud each time a fairy came crashing down. They all lay there for a moment, to compose themselves. Their trip down had taken alot out of them. They groaned and streched their limbs after hitting the ground with such a force. Edith was the first to stand up and look around them. They were on the face of a mountain, over looking a fast forest. It was the dead if night, so the air was still around them.

None of them could actually believe they had made it. It seemed as thought all hope was lost when they first step foot in the demon realm, but here they were. They had just ventured further than other fairy before them. They all stood up and looked out over the forest of the new world they would call home. They knew that the demon king would come looking eventually, so it would have been a wise idea to get moving, but they were all in such shock, they could not move.

The silance was inturpted by another thump, coming from behind them. They all jumped in fear and were prepared to run, expecting to see demon gaurds, or worse. The king himself. However they were stopped in their tracks, when they realised that they had been joined by two men, who by apperence, were obviously not demons. They lacked the souless, pail and sickly air that was needed to be a demon. They two men moaned in pain after hitting the ground.

"Who are you?" Asked Fay.

The two men jumped from fright, but calmed when they saw it was the fairies.

"We're warlocks. We were captives of the demon king," one answered.

"Were captives? He let you go?" Asked Kae.

"Well no, not exactly. He was i  such a rage when you left he called for us. He wanted us to curse you,"

All the fairies gasped.

"Don't worry. I did not do exactly what he wanted," he reasured them.

"What did you do then?" Demanded Edith.

The warlock hung his head.

"He wanted me to turn you into a wolf. So you would have to live as savages. But instead I put a twist on it. You are just as powerful as him now, so he can never overpower you again," he said.

"What did you do to us?" Paniced Fay.

"You are now much stronger and faster because.....you are half super wolf and half super human," he told them.

They were all speechless. What did this mean for them now. Were they savages. Were they still part fairy.

"But I don't feel any different," said Fay.

Suddenly there was movement in the bushes behind them. They all stilled and prepared to run once more. A girl emerged from the bushes. She stood before them all and looked around. They wondered if she was human. They doubted it though. There was something about her air that said otherwise.

"I'm sorry I could not help in time," said the girl.

"You were busy. You couldn't help it," said Edith.

"I know, but still. Is anyone hurt?" She inquired.

"No, but.......something did happen," Edith said.

Everyone else stood and watched on in confusion. Who was she and how did Edith know her.

"What is it?"

"These warlocks said the Alexander wished to turn us all into wolves as punishment for running away. Instead, they made us into half wolves so we were just as powerful as them," Edith told them.
