Four weeks later, Liza was up early cooking breakfast for Ed. She stood in front of the stove, pan in hand, wearing nothing but one of Ed's oversized shirts and pink underwear.
Ed stirred in bed and groaned. In his groggy state, he threw his legs over the bed and stood. He walked downstairs quietly and took in the air. He smelled the faint aroma of eggs and maple syrup and immediately knew Liza had woken up early, (which she absolutely hates doing), just to make him a nice breakfast.
God I love her. He thought to himself.
He glanced around the corner of the stairs to see Liza dressed..well not very dressed. Ed sucked in a breath and bit his lip as he took in his wife's gorgeous body. He silently crept towards Liza and when he was close enough, he wrapped his arms around her waist. She sucked in a breath in surprise.
"Well good morning to you too, Ed." She said smiling.
"You're so beautiful Elizabeth." He whispered, sending chills down her spine.
He kissed the top of her head and bent his head down to her shoulder. He began kissing her neck and shoulders, trailing his hands down her waist and around to her stomach. He started reaching under her underwear when Liza suddenly grabbed his wrist and pulled it upwards. She turned around to face him.
"Dude, really? It's like nine thirty. Keep it in your pants." She smirked.
Ed pouted and stuck out his lower lip.
"Awww come on, Love. You can't expect me to not want you when you're dressed like that." He said, motioning up and down her body.
"Well," She began. "Be that as it may, you need to learn to control yourself babe." She said laughing.
"Awww pweeeaseeee?" Ed pouted, "I can go quick. We can just do a quick lil somethin somethin." He smirked.
Liza picked up the pan from the stove and scraped the eggs off onto a plate. She turned back to Ed and shoved the plate into his hands.
"Eat your breakfast Edward." She smiled as she walked towards the stairs.
Ed walked to the table and placed his food on it. Liza was halfway up the stairs when she turned back to look at Ed. Of course he was still staring at her. Still facing away from him, she looked forward and removed Ed's shirt that she was wearing. She dropped it beside her almost as fast as Ed's jaw dropped. She hiked up her underwear and walked up the stairs.
"I'm going to the store!" Liza yelled down to Ed.
"Woman!" Ed shouted, throwing his hands up in exasperation.
"You're such a tease." He muttered.

Liza arrived at the grocery store and got along with her shopping. Milk, cheese, cereal, chocolate cake mix...the usual. When she was about to check out, she noticed a box of pregnancy tests. Hesitant, she walked over to the box and picked it up.
Why the hell not. She thought to herself nervously.
She put the box into her shopping cart and checked out.

Liza got out of her car upon arriving back home and carried the bag of groceries to the front door. She got out her keys and unlocked the door.
"Hey Ed I'm home." She said.
Ed was sitting in the kitchen, his eyes glued to his phone.
"Hey Love." He said, not looking up.
Liza placed the bag of groceries down on the table in the living room and quietly glanced up at Ed. When he wasn't looking, Liza grabbed the box of pregnancy tests and slipped it under her jacket. She began to walk upstairs when Ed asked,
"You want me to put away the groceries?"
"Ummm, yeah..yeah sure. Thanks Ed. I'm just gonna go to the bathroom." Liza said nervously.
She walked upstairs past the bed and into the bathroom. She locked the door behind her. Her shaky hand grabbed one of the tests and she used it.
After she was done, she walked over to the counter, test in hand, and waited for it to change colors. Suddenly, a plus sign appeared on the test. Liza snapped her head up and looked up at herself in the mirror in shock. Eyes wide, mouth agape, Liza whispered,
"I'm pregnant."
Liza was overcome with emotion and began to sob loudly. She looked at her crying, red eyed self and composed herself enough so that tears were still slipping now and then, but she wasn't hysterical. She held the test in her hand and hid it behind her back as she walked downstairs. She turned the corner and saw Ed putting the last grocery away. He closed the fridge and turned, noticing Liza standing there puffy eyed and crying.
"Liza oh my God what's wrong baby?!" He said, taking a step closer to her.
Liza could barely get the words out.
"I-...I'm pregnant Teddy." She smiled.
Ed dropped his phone as his eyes quickly welled up with tears.
"Really?" He smiled and whispered, a tear slipping down his cheek.
Liza nodded and smiled, holding out the pregnancy test for him to see.
Ed ran to her and took the pregnancy test from her. He started crying as he dropped the test on the floor. He hugged Liza, picked her up, and spun her. He gently put her down and kissed her. They held their lips together for a few seconds before they became complete crying messes. They held each other as Ed whispered,
"I'm gonna be a dad."
"I'm gonna be a mom." Liza whispered.
Ed pulled away from Liza and looked her deeply in the eyes.
"I love you so much Elizabeth. I love you so, so much."
Liza laughed a bit, "I love you too Ed."
She brought her hand up to his face and wiped away his tears. He did the same for her. Liza laughed,
"Shall we celebrate with a bit of...cake?"
"Um...yes. Yes we should." Ed laughed.

Hours later, Ed and Liza were curled up in bed. Ed shifted his arm around Liza so that his hand was resting on her stomach. Liza smiled.
"Hey, Love I-" Ed began.
Liza shot up and sat up wide eyed. She looked all around the room as if she hadn't seen it before.
"Liza, are you alright?" Ed asked concerned.
She didn't answer, just stared straight ahead.
"Liza? Liza say something!" Ed shouted.
Ed shook Liza and questioned her for almost 30 minuets, but even if he was lucky enough to get an answer, it was delayed by many minutes. Suddenly her ears began to ring so badly she thought she would go deaf. Liza began to feel sweaty and nauseated. She could practically feel her stomach rising to her throat. She snapped out of her zombie like state and cried out in pain. She screamed for what seemed like minutes, causing her throat to become red and raw. Finally, the sudden migraine died back down, still painful, but bearable. She began to smell something like burning rubber. The painful ringing in her ears returned and Liza squeezed her eyes shut, frozen.
"Liza?" Ed shouted.
He sounded like he was holding back tears. He didn't know what to do and he was terrified.
When Liza reopened her eyes, she felt dizzy and her vision was fading in and out. Then her vision went out completely. She suddenly lurched and stood up beside the bed. Lizas knees buckled from beneath her and she fell to the ground. A loud CRACK sound was made as her head hit the floor,
causing a new wave of pain to be sent through her brain, which was threatening  to explode at any moment. Ed jumped up and ran over to her, crying out. He held her tight to his chest but he still didn't know what to do. Suddenly Lizas hand jerked savagely to her chest, but she hadn't moved it-at least, she didn't think so. Her eyes bulged and she flailed over onto her side. Liza's legs began to shake, her muscles contracting and spasming. Ed grabbed her and held her to him crying and saying to stay strong.
"You're okay. You're okay." He repeated.
It sounded more like he was trying to convince himself than her. Lizas eyes were open, but they were rolled backwards so that only the white is showing. Groaning and grunting noises rose from somewhere deep in her throat. She flipped violently onto her back, slipping from Ed's grip so that all he could do was watch, and the shaking died down right before Liza became stiff as a board. Her neck became strained and her mouth was stretched open. Liza realized she wasn't breathing, and her panic triggered another series of violent spasms. Her back arched as if trying to reach for the air that refused to resume its repetitive routine of in and out. Lizas arms and legs jerked and convulsed worse than before. She became blue all over, a result of a lack of oxygen. Her heart was pounding in her chest,
struggling for air. Ed was crying uncontrollably and trying to help, but nothing would. He was scared. Suddenly a gurgling noise rose from Liza's chest. She gasped violently for oxygen, and heaved air in and out of her lungs. She curled up into a little ball as her body turned against her, trying to shed her of her own skin. Liza jerked and thrashed for many minutes until the seizure stopped entirely, leaving her helpless and Ed traumatized.
