It had been 4 months. Four months without him. Four months without her Teddy.
Liza had been preparing for him to come home for 3 days. She cooked, bought food, cooked again, cleaned the house, cleaned the house again, polished everything...yeah she was excited. Finally it was the day he would come home. Liza baked his favorite desert: chocolate cake. She prepared his things for his arrival and cleaned the bedroom a third time.
As Liza was making the bed, she thought to herself,
I've been working all day, and he's not gonna be home for another hour.....I'll just rest my eyes.
Liza crawled in bed and grabbed the little teddy bear from the nightstand.
She laid down with a smile on her face knowing Ed would be home soon.

Ed walked up the stairs with a big smile on his face. He practically ran to the bedroom to find Liza asleep.
"Boo." He whispered in her ear.
Liza stirred and grumbled, "Go back to work, it's too early for you to be here Teddy."
Then she gasped and sprang up. She looked at him.
"Teddy!" She squealed, throwing herself around him.
"Hey, Love." He said smiling.
Liza pulled away and looked at him, her eyes welling up with tears.
"I missed you so, so much." She said, her voice breaking a little.
"I know you did." He said, pulling something out from behind his back.
In his hands, he held a box of chocolates, a flower, and a note.
Liza read the note.
All that you are is all I'll ever need.

"Awww Teddy." Liza said puffing out her bottom lip, trying not to cry. "You're the best boyfriend ever." She said, hugging him.
"No I'm not, I'm a horrible boyfriend." He said, pushing Liza away and hanging his head.
Liza frowned and looked at him worriedly.
"No, Ed what's wrong? You're amazing." Liza said concerned.
"I'm always on tour, leaving you alone." He said looking up at her.
"Ed, baby, that's your job. Don't worry about me. I'll be ok. Plus, now I have a mini you to keep me company." She smirked in the direction of the bear.

"Well, I guess some things will just have to change then," he said smiling. "Next time I'm on tour, I will call you every single day...no exceptions, and I will annoy the shit out of my manager complaining about how much I miss you."
Liza smiled and kissed him.
