Sophie POV
Currently sat backstage at the show in Edinburgh with Grace beside me, Harry was currently dancing about with Zayn to a random song. Rebecca was sat in with Ashton, wanting time with one of her best friends. Grace didn’t really want to see Rebecca, I wanted to be with Harry and not Michael, and hence why we were sat in here.
“Rebecca really had no right to do that to me” Grace sighed as she played with a strand of her brown hair. I really was the left out one between us with newly dyed pastel pink hair whilst the others all held brown hair.
“Mhm” was all I said as I played with the edge of my crop top. My legs crossed on the sofa as I slowly looked up, giggling when Harry wiggled his tongue in a suggestive way.
“I mean, she really had no reason to. The one chance I had to do that and keep it private and she blabbers it” She groaned throwing her head back.
“Mhm” I said again, biting my lip as Harry’s hips started to thrust, making me attempt to hide my growing smile.
“Are you even listening?” Grace said looking at me then at Harry as I blushed when he placed two fingers in his mouth raising his eyebrows. “Oh…” Was all she said before grabbing her phone and looking down.
“In all seriousness I am listening, just not responding because I like Becky, It’s Michael I don’t like, otherwise I’d be sat in there” I shrug before flipping Harry the finger as he lets out a fake moan.
In the other room, Ashton was giving Rebecca a hard time. Her books were being moved, pens stolen from her and papers being mixed up.
“Ashton I swear to god if you don’t stop I’ll snap every drumstick you own” She growls, snatching a baby blue fine liner from his hand, slamming it back down on the table.
His hands lifted a purple one this time.
It was snatched back.
His hands made the big mistake of taking her glasses and putting them on.
“For fuck’s sake Ashton! You’re doing my fucking head in!” She shouts, pushing him off of the brown leather sofa before storming out.
A moment later she returned, grabbing her text book. “I’m going to work somewhere else. Somewhere quiet” She snapped, leaving Ashton with wide eyes.
“Don’t you think she’s been different lately though?” Grace sighed as I smiled at Louis who looked over at us.
“I mean, she has been fairly moody lately” I shrug as I look back down at my phone, focusing on the game I was playing.
“Well if you hadn’t of been an idiot and dropped out of school you would have known how I felt” Someone snapped. My head instantly lifting to see Rebecca in the doorway.
“It wasn’t my fault… I wasn’t getting good grades anyway” I shrug as I look down once more.
“That means nothing! You still would have known what it’s like to have countless exams in a matter of weeks!” She snaps looking pretty angry by now.
“Be thankful for the grades you’re getting, not mine” I shrug before feeling a cold laminated item smash past my cheekbone.
My eyes lifted. Tears evident. I was tender and the most fragile out of all of us.
“What the hell’s going on in here?” An Australian voice said confused.
A black haired boy was stood in the doorway. The last person I wanted to see too.
Michael.
“She was being a bitch!” Rebecca shouted, pointing straight at me as my heart sunk more. A tear slipping from my cheek and rolling into the cut clearly made on my cheek bone.
“That doesn’t mean you can throw a book at her! A big one at that!” He said looking at her.
She shook her head with no emotion, simply stepping out of the room and walking off as I looked at the book now on the floor.
This wasn’t my best friend.
What had happened to the Becky I knew.
