Sophie POV;
I was stood beside Rebecca at the side of the stage. My blonde hair was cascading down my back in soft waves – still slightly messy from the very small make out Michael had insisted on before the show. I was currently wearing black disco pants, a white baggy vest top with Michael’s zip up hoody covering my arms and bum due to it being quite big on me. My feet in a simple pair of frilly socks and white converse.
The sound of ‘Heartbreak girl’ was filling the O2 arena, along with screaming fans who had also come to support the 4 boys currently living their dream on-stage. I smiled proudly, sliding my phone out of my back pocket to sneak a photo of Calum, whom was closest to me as he smirked shaking his head. I looked to my left, seeing Rebecca’s eyes firmly set on the older boy behind the drums. Ashton. The little shit who had posted the video on keek of me and Michael. But, he was my best friend in the band, apart from Michael.
‘Teenage Dream’ was the next song to play around the stadium, causing almost everyone to scream and begin to sing along. Including the two of us stood on the side lines of the stage. The black haired boy making his way to the right hand side of the stage, smiling at fans and playing his guitar in a manner that made them scream with happiness at the idea of being noticed. His eyes falling to mine as I shook my head smirking at his silly nature. “Idiot” I mouthed causing him to chuckle and shake his head making a hip thrust motion, making me laugh louder.
A small voice picked up from beside me as I settled back into my book during their small speech. “Are you two like, dating or something?” Rebecca said softly, clearly not one for talking to brand new people instantly. Especially people as opposite as I was – well seemed to be.
I laughed gently shaking my head. “No love, just friends but with a few benefits” I smiled. Rebecca nodded slowly, taking it in but still looking slightly confused.
The way she looked at me was as if she knew me. As if she was convinced I was someone she had met before. The only time I had met her was at the airport, we can’t have before…
The boys said goodbye, finally coming off the stage and gaining high fives from myself. Ashton dropped a wink to Rebecca who started giggling like a crazed fan. Michael’s hands slid into the back pocket of my leggings, pulling me closer to his sweaty body as I gasped shaking my head with a laugh being held back. “No chance, you’re all sweaty and sticky and ew. We can cuddle or whatever after you’ve showered you smelly human” I smirk shaking my head, pushing him away before smiling at Rebecca, who had been watching me again.
That same look of confusion. That same look of knowing.
